Just off the top of my head.. Georgia..Texas.. Ohio St... probably Miami. In my opinion these high value nil 5 star players still want good exposure to the NFL. Yeah they're making millions in the short term but their ultimate goal is the NFL. The best playing or contending schools would be the ideal place for the best exposure. Bama is quickly falling from that category with transfers.. losing out on recruiting and high value players. And if Bama has another 4 or 5 game losing season we wont even be ranked and going to some nonsense nothing bowl. High value nil 5 star players and their agents are not knocking at the door of those type of schools. I wish I was wrong on all this and maybe its just a bad dream

True, but they are going to have to pick through some carcasses this year to field 12 teams, I mean some absolute dogshit teams

Wait, you don’t think Texas and Ohio State have been a bit up and down as teams this year? Even UGA struggled with unranked Auburn yesterday and lost, and Kirby Smart UGA teams of yore wouldn’t have done that.

We are trending to not even being ranked. We do not control our own destiny now and have to win out impressively and rely on chaos above us to make the playoffs. The committee will not forget how bad our offense has been the last two games. And last night's game was the killer.. Inexcusable pitiful

Also I don’t give a shite if we deserve it. We do have a QB who could be dangerous if he gets on a heater. If Pete Golding can get to one play from a title game just because of a hot QB, our dumb shite staff can too. I’ll always gladly take a berth if handed it.

They are both still carrying winning or bad azz reputations. Both of their coaches are still highly respected. They are both packed with high value players and I don't see or feel that changing with the staff they currently have. Auburn is definitely not a better team talent or coach wise.. Sometimes crazy stuff happens in the SEC.. Just like Vanderbilt beating us a few years agi

Just embarrassed by Auburn and needed the refs to beat Alabama, which should be a fireable offense since we're the worst team ever... Also if Vandy's starting QB wasn't out injured, Kirby would likely have 3 losses, given what Auburn did to UGA.

Texas..

Was embarrassed by Oklahoma and a Florida team that was pantsed by South Carolina... should I mention the worst team ever (Bama) obliterated South Carolina?

Ohio St...

Has played a grand total of one team (a horrible Texas) and lost... Sure, we can say Indiana but Indiana was also a count hair away from losing to Nebraska and Northwestern.

probably Miami

A Florida State team that we (the worst team ever) destroyed took them into overtime last night.

So all the teams you listed proves TouchdownAlabama's point. And sadly, all of those teams (besides Georgia) have massive NIL budgets and can buy any player they want... yet, none of them with their billionaire sponsored rosters are as far ahead of Bama as you might think.

Im not gonna bullet point all of your good points. But really this was not an argument. It was about hiw the nil and related was affecting different teams. Op asked me what teams I felt like hasn't been affected so far. The teams I listed ARE loaded with nil talent. The AP and coaches poll kinda reflect what I said. Those teams right or wrong are being judges different. Proof : Miami is #1 GA only fell to No. 5. Ohio st and ND make up 3 and 4.. and a real head scratcher with BYU at 2. Even with all of the good points you made these top 5 didnt fall because I believe its a talent or maybe just outright biased. But Bama did look horrible last night and their offense was weak as hell against GA. Now the team really being looked down on is TX falling all the way to 19. But they are the exception to the bs going on. I think all the talkers are just overly disappointed with them that they punished them worse than Bama. But Bama deserved the spot they got.. one more loss and we're down there with TX or lower..... Also : further proof that roster talent does figure in.. a few years ago we got in instead of FL.st only because the committee figured in the loss of their starting QB

We belong in the playoffs? The playoffs? This team? With these coaches???? We just scored 10 points against a shitty Tennessee team. The team that Arkansas almost beat.

So go to the playoffs and get humiliated again? No thank you

For this season, I'd say we're not eliminated until we lose 4 games. There's going to be very few teams who are 10-2 at the end.

My theory is UT basically took the week off for the Arky game and put everything into Bama, hence their poor performance in that game. Saw that we were going to face UGA the week before and KNEW this was their chance to throw everything at an injured Tide. Doesn’t make me less mad at our own team for not sniffing that out and going into the game yesterday with intensity and will. But it makes so much sense.

If Kentucky loses another game (likely), they should drop behind Bama. UCLA will more than likely drop a game or two. TTU or Utah will drop.

These aren’t the worries for Bama right now. Bama’s worry should be to not get embarrassed by A&M and to use the bye week to start over fresh for the last 4 games.

Probably true. See my thread on Bama being their super bowl. Not sure why people down vote it. Its the truth. There isn't a team on their schedule Tenn gets so jacked for.

Uga loses to Ole Miss.

If BAMA wins out they are a playoff team.
Book it.

Auburn also had scheduling in their favor. Bye week right before a Bama-beaten up UGA.

Just as soon as we thought DeBoer had graduated from some bad habits he goes and "DeBoers" again. Should have known, old habits don't die easy. With him you're going to get one to two "crap their pants" games where the team looks completely unprepared and they lose games they're not supposed to. Here's one of them. Which game is next?

We absolutely control our own destiny. We win out and sit at 10-2 and we 100% make the playoffs. You're an idiot alter as has been pointed out multiple times in this thread.
