Bama 's chances to make the NCAA

I think Bama could make it to the tournament, if they can win 4 of their last 5 conferemce games. This means they win @ LSU, beat AU at home, lose @ FL, win @ Ole Miss, and beat GA at home. That will be tough to do, but I think Bama can steal Ole Miss' NCAA berth with a win at Oxford and only losing to the gators. That would be good enough for second in the conference and would mean 22 wins going into the SEC tourney.
I don't think Bama will make any noise even if they get into the NCAA, but that would be a solid year and something to build on until our post play improves.

Thanks for the ground breaking info, you should check out a bball thread sometime. We wouldn't be 'stealing' a berth from Ole Miss though, it's not like one of us has to get in. They're probably on the wrong side of it right now too with their loss to Carolina.

A few good wins and too many bad losses. RPI would have to be our saving grace if we don't win out and even then it is tough.

Villanova and Kentucky isn't nearly enough to make up for Dayton, Mercer, Tulane, and Auburn plus playing in the SEC

If we go 5-1 and Florida isn't the loss, I actually think our RPI would be better just by beating Florida on the road. That in itself would get us in IMO

RPI would be virtually the same if the loss was against Florida or against LSU. Probably better if it was against LSU because I'm sure we have more common opponents.

Rpi is dumb but they ain't making it because of that. This team is simply not good and don't deserve it. I hate basketball and hardly ever follow it unless Bama has a decent team but this year they suck. Too many bad losses and today was another loss to a bad team.

Win out in the regular season or lose to Florida and make it the SECTCG. Those are our only hopes I think.
