Burton is a very good player. If he can keep his emotions in check then he will be a good player for Bama this year. My hope is that Benson gets comfortable with the offense quickly because he is probably the most talented of all of the receivers. Just hope that he gets the mental aspect down as quickly as possible.

I don't particularly care who wins the job as long as the offense isn't an exercise in 20 seconds worth of pre-snap reads followed by the slowest developing unimaginative pass plays in the history of sports.

I think that we have the dudes, multiple freshman showed flashes last season, and it wouldn't surprise me if Brooks finally breaks out. And then there is Burton who is solid.

For sure. Obviously none of our veterans last year were Jeudy with the ball, but it’s not like they are a bunch of Northwestern guys either. I think are scheme was terrible for getting athletes into open space.

CFB Nerds alluded to this in their Bama preview show. For some reason we made Bryce be Tom Brady when there are waaaaay simpler ways to move the ball in the college game.

I've heard really good things about Emmanuel Henderson. He’s kind of a forgotten guy in the rotation because of the three who played last year but that guy is a talented athlete. Also really excited about Jalen Hale.

Just casually throwing in a guy's name who has been out of the program for a decade.

The SubAir system they installed is amazing. Here's a video that shows how quickly it drains water from a field: YouTube video

Do you prefer Pritchett at LG over Ferguson?
Not necessarily, I just have a tough time thinking Dalcourt is the best LG we could field. Just my opinion obviously. Proctor is just a mountain

Proctor may not start right away but he will eventually start somewhere. Just too big and talented not to.

Also I’m not sure why all the hate for him? He’s an Alabama player, I would think you would want him to succeed and if he emerges as the best, then he does. It’s not our choice. One thing I know about Buchner from the sauces is he works his arse off and doesn’t make excuses. If he doesn’t win the job, a guy like that won’t give up on his work and work to be a good backup. The kid has had a tough time, major injury, gets passed up after coming back against a super hot South Carolina team that beat Tennessee and Clemson. Hate if you want but I’m happy to have him at Bama.

I don’t get it either. I understand not wanting to be the team to draft _______ but this isn’t the NFL Draft. The staff gets a bunch of practices with each guy and you can keep more than one

Ty Simpson has a fanclub on here because ironically, we’ve seen less of him than everyone else

He also seems like the guy with the biggest upside and the one most likely to be a good to great passer if it really starts to click for him.

I'll be happy for any and all the QB's to succeed and play well, but just offering an explanation for why so many seem to have high hopes for Ty.

Buchner will have better talent around him at Bama. This guy is a gamer. Watch his bowl game against South Carolina when he was healthy.

Sure. And that’s waaaaaay more important to me than rushing ability. Especially considering Simpson is a great athletes himself

I think that Ty has a fan club because he’s the most gifted passer of the quarterbacks on the roster. He was a five star recruit. Weird how people had already anointed Bryce two years ago but are afraid to acknowledge that Ty could be a terrific player himself.
