I think from the Twitter video of him (and several other players) moving onto campus. It's linked a few posts above. He still looks lanky, but he's obviously spent some time in the weight room.

Re Antonio ...my father got to play golf with him at a big oak charity event. Terrible golfer but absolutely the nicest dude according to my father

Deserves to be hof - not for just being a good dude, but made SEC ... And probably all conf championship games a possibility.

i for one, don't blame langham for the fiasco that happened after the championship. i blame the adults that tried to ignore the rules, ingram and stallings. so yeah, vote that all sec player into the hof.

It's so weird that Julio Jones, maybe the most important recruit for Alabama in the past half century, #6 overall draft pick and a sure fire NFL hall of famer... isn't eligible for the college football hall of fame.

He didn’t have an elite QB throwing to him.

That's what happens when you play three years of football in a run first offense with the likes of John Parker Wilson and Greg McElroy as your QB.

Had he played in the Kiffin offense or with Tua, Mac or Young as the QB, he would have been a All-America.

I believe pretty much every other major player in the Saban era is eligible for the CFHOF.

Here's the criteria for players: LINK

quote:

FIRST AND FOREMOST, A PLAYER MUST HAVE RECEIVED FIRST-TEAM ALL-AMERICA RECOGNITION BY A SELECTOR RECOGNIZED BY THE NCAA AND UTILIZED TO COMPRISE THEIR CONSENSUS ALL-AMERICA TEAMS.

A player becomes eligible for consideration by the NFF's Honors Courts 10 full seasons after his last year of intercollegiate football played.

While each nominee's football achievements in college are of prime consideration, his post-football record as a citizen is also weighed. He must have proven himself worthy as a citizen, carrying the ideals of football forward into his relations with his community and fellow man. Consideration may also be given for academic honors and whether or not the candidate earned a college degree.

Players must have played their last year of intercollegiate football within the last 50 years.* For example, to be eligible for the 2024 ballot, the player must have played his last year in 1974 or thereafter. In addition, players who are playing professionally and coaches who are coaching on the professional level are not eligible until after they retire.

* Players who do not comply with the 50-year rule may still be eligible for consideration by the Football Bowl Subdivision and Divisional Veterans Committees. Veterans Committee candidates must still meet First Team All-America requirement.

Screw the CFHOF. They took Wade out of Bama's class.

Right now the hall is showing Bama with 22 HOF players.

1. They haven't added Croom, class of 22, yet.

2. They took Wallace Wade out of Bama's class & put him in Duke's because he finished his career there.

For Bama he had 3 National Championships, 3 SoCon championships, & 2 Rose Bowl wins/champs.

For Duke he never won a bowl game & no National Championships. He won 6 SoCon championships.

Also not showing in Bama's class....

3. Don Whitmire played Tackle at Alabama in 1941 & 42; was an AA for Bama in 1942. Transferred to Naval Accademy & was consensus AA 43. He's counted for Navy not Bama.

4. Frank Howard was a tackle for the 1930 Alabama National Championship team. He went to Clemson after Bama career to coach & became the AD there. He's listed as a HOF coach for Clemson.

Hell even AJ throwing to him. Anyone but Greg and he’s an ultra superstar mega HOF guy. Especially if he played with Amari Cooper.

Saban doesn't mess around. Every time I see one of these videos he is trying to get them to fly off a tube. Hilarious.
