I don't like it but it's modern football. Even NFL teams and nearly all college teams have been doing it for years. It's not exclusive to Alabama.
Also plenty of teams like up in goalline and get stuffed. There's a better option in between those two.

I was at the scrimmage last Saturday and Haynes looked like one of the best on the field. Saban even commented on him when he came to address us afterwards. Dude is going to be a damn stud.
