Pete Golding moving on was the best thing for this team. He was not up to our standard. Hopefully Steele, who is more experienced and stable than Pete, will bring that accountability and attention to detail back to our defense.

Do you know when they're scheduled to take place? If A-Day is 4/22, are we looking at 4/8 and 4/15 for the first two scrimmages?

our defense was always confused under him. Steele will make things simpler and get people playing faster, which should be all that's necessary with our talent levels.

Pete was too overwhelmed and unfit for the job. Getting the DUI last February is something that was unacceptable for a coach. He's a decent defensive coach but IMO should've moved on a couple of years ago. Steele is a major upgrade and hopefully the defense is much more dialed in this year.

I agree, especially the interior of our D line. They couldnt get any pressure on the QB, or any push on the Oline from the interior of the D line.

I agree with everything said about Golding. I'll add that I'm glad he's gone because I wasn't confident in his talent evaluations at the ILB position. I feel much better with a proven DC.

We have underachieved greatly there be it talent or coaching. We went from McClain to Hightower to Mosley and Foster to the performance we’ve seen since then.

I agree just think its coaching and not the talent. Guys arent taking on blockers instead they try to go around them.

James Smith and Qua Russaw are going to play early. Both have looked impressive thus far.

I think we’re going to see marked improvement on defense even without the best pass rusher since DT on the unit.

Why not? Lawson, Braswell, and Turner are your presumed starters at Mike, Sam, and Jack. Will is wide open. He's up against 2 transfers and a bunch of guys who have about as much starting experience as he does.

Russaw has been practicing at outside linebacker this spring. Turner has been out with injury and they need more depth rushing the passer. It’s still possible for him and Keeley to play at some point.

Jalen Milroe (allegedly) delivers an absolute dime to Ja'Corey Brooks in practice.

I say "allegedly" because the QB is too far away from the camera. Beautiful throw though to the corner of the endzone. Kool-Aid had good coverage.

Huh? It's clearly Milroe in the video. Are you saying the camera is so far away that you think it's photoshopped?

No.

I'm saying that there were a lot of people asking who the passer was and people under the comments were claiming that it was Milroe.

Well unless we've signed another huge black guy that can throw the shite out of a ball, I'd assume it's Milroe
