Pete coached in Texas and Louisiana. Prime needs to recruit those areas
Makes sense. Would love to see that.

Honestly that might be the way out without having to fire him, since that is apparently something Saban is unwilling to do. Colorado needs actual FBS talent on their roster more than they need competent coaching and Golding's only real skill is recruiting.

I think this is the first time in a long while, that there's not a defensive coach on staff that Prime could "steal" that would elicit being the least bit upset about.
Sunseri returning on field for anyone but Bama would be the closest...

I'd like to hang on to T-Rob. Unfortunately, he's one of maybe two that I'd imagine anyone would want to come after lol.

I think there's good coaches on that side, T-Rob is definitely one, but no one seems to be close to the "irreplaceable" label.
I'd like for him to stick around, at the very least to have some continuity at the CB spot...

I wonder if Freeze has reached out to either or both of T-Rob and Charles Kelly.

I posted about that above.
They're bringing Wesley McGriff back as CB Coach and retaining Zac Etheridge, seems it would take a DC job for either of them to jump ship.
And even then, with how cheap they're going with these hires so far, would be underwhelming to continue that with the coordinator spots...

We definitely could have found cheaper, better options for the two bozo coordinators we have.

Stephen M. Smith said the two coaches Prime is interested in are T Rob and Freddie Roach.

He's the dude that has the Bama podcast on YouTube.

We need to keep Freddie unless he gets a promotion with prime

I feel differently. I won't miss the coordinators, Freddie, Holman Wiggins, or Charles Kelly

Bama just can't find balance at DL Coach, they're either a good teacher or good recruiter. There's too much meat on the bone left on DL development with Roach.
Bo Davis was an outlier, he was good at both. I don't think he'll ever return, and not because Bama can't hire him. There were hurt feelings on both sides of the infraction ordeal. Time heals all wounds though....

the Utah DC is someone I would like. Give him the bank

Morgan Scalley is a Utah lifer, been there in some capacity as a player/student/coach since 2001.
He was their HCIW, but after he got suspended indefinitely in 2020, he was stripped of it and had his salary slashed significantly.

Leonhard may not want to be a head coach anywhere but Wisconsin
