Coach Saban's Monday press conference
His press conferences have been mostly coach speak this year. I'd like to hear him get truly mad at least once, but I think he feels like there is no reason to do so because it won't help this team to be any better.

Smart Guy ?
@SmartJames1981
Only 4 QB’s in NFL have had multiple games at 80%+ completion percentage (min attempts 10) this season. All 4 have had 2 such games. Below is a list of the QBs and their passing TDs in those two games.
Mac Jones 4TDs
Dak Prescott 3TDs
Kyler Murray 3TDs
Tua 6TDs

A poster on BOL is claiming Nick's been in touch with Mullen
quote:more on the golding comment
At the end of the season. Marrone will be out, he was told during bye week. Golding has given Saban an ultimatum, let me run my defense, or give a different job, BOB will be interviewing for several HC jobs.
Now, here's the kicker that I'm not sure I believe, supposedly, Saban and Mullen are pretty tight and the offer has been made.

Let me rephrase my statement, it was a "if I can't call the defense the way I want at this point, please help me move on to a new job situation.

if he gave NS an ultimatum no one would know it as it would have been private right

I question the Mullen info too. Its hard to believe Saban would have already reached out to him within 2 days of him being let go. But others have chimed in on the Marrone info being legit so the other info might be legit too

“I’m proud as game rooster” to have watched Josey Wales just the other night. I’ve only seen it about 50 times.

I've heard about Marrone being told he's not coming back.
BoB will land a job somewhere.
Should have let Golding coach DBs. At this point I don't care if he's a defensive wizard I can't watch his ILBs anymore.

His starting ILB just won Walter Camp Defensive Player of the Week and SEC Player of the Week. The problem with this defense does not lie in the front seven.

This is as stupid as someone saying Evan Neal is the best lineman in the country and would win the award for best weekly so our problem doesn't lie in OL, the coach or our blocking.

It really isn't. The OL has been a problem all year. Everyone knows this. They can't block for our RBs and our QB has faced a little too much pressure on passing plays.
However, you really can't fault the front seven of our defense with their play this year. They are, statistically speaking, the best rushing defense we've had in the last five years. They also have generated more sacks and tackles for loss than our vaunted 2011 defense had at the same point in the season.
The problem with the defense lies in the secondary. They have been torched over and over again and have busted more plays than a Ron Jeremy porno. Jobe and Moore have underwhelmed this year and Daniel Wright seems to mess up every time he sees the field. In other words, the play of our ILBs is not the problem.
