Sucks that Kyle Edwards ended up in the portal. Would have got some carries this year.

Or Keiland Robinson. I don’t think he’s played all that much at Texas.

I think Drew Sanders broke his thumb during the first series vs OM, but he played well after that so I'm guessing he's good to play through the injury

just read the caption about Arch Manning at the bottom of the page and how much he enjoyed his visit to bama last week. wondering how it would play out if he actually came to bama. would simpson go elsewhere? would it end up arch sitting a year under bryce and then battling milroe and simpson for the starting job? that would be a great problem to have. com'on down arch!

Wouldn't Bryce be gone by the time Arch got here? If he continues the way he has been, he will be drafted after next year.

Would the staff consider using one of the Walk ON RB's in a pinch?

I was thinking about Bryce and wondering when he would go out last night. My question was while he is talented he is so slight and relatively short would the NFL put a ceiling on him that might cause him to stay an extra year? I was thinking of the success of an even shorter guy like Kyler Murray would mean it would not matter, but Kyler is still thicker and faster than Bryce. I mean I don't know about you but I hold my breath everytime some one gets a hold of him at the college level. The closet person to size and style of play to Bryce I think I have seen is Doug Flutie, maybe you all have better examples. I think if Bryce stayed an extra year and Arch came, Simpson is the most likely transfer, especially if Jabba the Vol turns it around or Dabo is still searching for a QB. I think Milroe will be here.

Anything is possible, but highly unlikely. The walk ons are most likely are not as good of athletes as scholarship players that played running back some in high school, but signed for other positions. Many of the players played both ways in high school.

An extra year may bulk Bryce up some, but probably not enough to make a big difference on the pro level. Most likely still be the same height. Who knows what Simpson's ceiling is. He will have a year head start on Arch. With NIL, If Bryce won the Heisman this year, he might would make more money playing two more years at BAMA. That would be nice.

I was more talking to a combination of you and and I are saying more than just height or weight although I didn't mention. Say after junior year he doesn't get a second round grade. Does he declare with the belief that his frame is going to limit his draft position regardless if he stays or does he stick around an extra year, try to put a little more weight and collect NIL if it isn't reigned in any, gambling he can increase his draft stock? Now he still has a season and a half to go before any of this so a lot can change.

I agree, You just never know what may happen. Hopefully he stays healthy. He seems like a great young man that has his head on straight and has fantastic parents that will give him good advice.

I don't think so. His height hasn't affected his play from anything I've seen, and he has the arm/off platform throwing ability that NFL teams covet these days. He probably needs to cultivate some mass though.

I would be shocked if he doesn't at least a second round grade after next year. He'd have to drop off a cliff for that to happen. Plus who is his biggest competition at QB in the 23 draft class? DJ, Stroud, Card?

Dude. I’ve been posting on this board for 3 years. Not sure why you have a problem with it now.
