How do you guys feel we will counter UF crossers & wheels and general passing game? Are you confident in nickle backers and safeties to accomplish the task?
SOG models make me curious about dime personnel being ideal with UF not prioritizing run game.

i'm not sure our lb's can cover pitts. not so sure i wouldnt go one on one with surtain on pitts. get after trask hard n heavy. but hey, i'm no defensive guru, so theres that

That kid has personal issues that go far beyond epilepsy. I just have a really difficult time believing that Colorado is doing nothing to help him.

Barrett Jones on wjox said #13 will be a key for us. Trask likes to throw to the slot receiver a lot, and that is where #13 M Moore defends. They even put their tight end in the slot. Jones said he doesnt think Saban will try to shadow the tight end, because CNS doesnt believe in that. He thinks we play our defense and everyone does their job. Jones also said that although he doesnt think FL will win, they have the kind of players that can play with anyone. If Trask gets hot with their receivers, they could score a bunch of points. But he said although the FL O line pass blocks very well, for some reason they have not been able to run block. And, he said the FL defense has not made the step forward like the Ala defense has made over the season.

It's more of identifying what formation they will run and making sure we have right player to be there, potentially jumping the route if we can. We will use mix of zone/man coverage. We just have to put pressure on Trask all night long. Don't give him time to make reads. Force him to take chances.
