Don't cancel the season before Bama destroys LSU and Auburn.

Already taken care of. I went on Twitter and preemptively declared that we are the champions and that everyone else's points are fraudulent. I also did this for the Braves and am eagerly awaiting my World Series hat that the Fake Dodgers stole from me.

Before midweek, Special Ed will make the contact tracing count look a lot like a Biden comeback in Pennsylvania.

These are usually pretty good articles:

Move the LSU game to the 12th of December.

With Auburn having a bye now this week too, lets go ahead and play the Iron Bowl this weekend.

Make sure it gets played.

"Penalizing" Bama by taking away a bye week if LSU causes a cancellation and "rewarding" UF with a bye week when they were the cause of a cancellation would be an interesting decision by the SEC.

UA @ LSU might be rescheduled, but not to 12/12. LSU @ UF is on 12/12.

Division games take priority.

Move the Florida/Arkansas to Dec 12th. Arkansas might have an outbreak soon anyway.

Florida would only play 9 games, but that could benefit Mac Jones earning SEC Offensive Player of the Year over Trask.

It appears to me that the worst teams don't care if they are exposed. It keeps them from another embarassment.

LSU and UF shouldn't get to skip their Dec 12th matchup, since it was UF's outbreak that caused it to get postponed. UF should be the team (not Bama) that has to prep for, play and get banged up in a physical game vs LSU on Dec 12. If LSU is unable to field player minimums this Saturday, it's their fault, not Bama's. Therefore, Bama should get a bye this week and keep Dec 12 open in case another game gets postponed.

Bama has done a great job of following the SEC prevention protocol and preventing outbreaks, even doing more testing than required. Why should Bama be penalized for UF's and LSU's failures preventing outbreaks?

I agree, Surge, but let's be careful what we say. With CNS letting the kids go home during the off week, all bets are off as we've seen with Trey Sanders. I know Trey did nothing wrong and was in an accident, but you see my point. They are home, doing college kid things, most of which aren't conducive to staying virus free. Let's hope everybody comes back safe and sound and ready to roll for the stretch run.

Yeah. That's why I mentioned that we shouldn't sacrifice our open date on Dec 12 for LSU's or UF's problems. We might need it for KY, AU or AR. The postponed UF vs LSU game should remain scheduled for Dec 12. If the minimum available players requirements can be met, the SEC and schools need to play the scheduled games for the revenue. CFP and bowl revenues are critical too. For now, I'm thinking UA & LSU will probably play this weekend.

If LSU can't play this weekend, I suppose UA @ LSU could be moved to 11/28 by moving UA vs AU from 11/28 to this weekend and LSU @ A&M from 11/28 to 12/19. But those changes would have to be made this morning so UA & AU could start practicing for it today.

Another option is to move UA @ LSU to 12/05 by moving UA @ AR from 12/05 to 12/12 and LSU vs OM from 12/05 to 12/19.

Another option is to move UA @ LSU to 11/21 by moving UA vs UK from 11/21 to 12/12 and LSU @ AR from 11/21 to 12/19.

The wjox crew talked to someone in Louisiana this morning. He said the chance of the game being played is 1% He said if you connect the dots, it will be next Wed before the players are cleared under the protocol. The only way he sees the game being played is if the players that tested positive, turned out to be a false positive, like Saban, and that would clear the other players that were put under the protocol.

From TigerRant, this is exactly what I was thinking the SEC would try and do.

quote:

I’m a student at LSU with friends who work inside the office. Sounding like a likely scenario is that the Bama game is rescheduled in place of the Ole Miss game, Florida is still played on 12/12, and then LSU-Ole Miss will be played the day of the SEC Championship.

However, not sure how they'll deal with our game with Arkansas. My guess is it will involve Kentucky.

That could work, but I wonder if Bama @ Arky would be moved from 12/05 to 12/12.

Eta: That would give us back to back road games at LSU & AR before the SEC title game.
