With Kylin Hill opting out also that is quite a group mid season if reports of him opting out are indeed true

If MSU will be patient with the tear down process, Leach will be successful. You never, EVER, allow the inmates to take over. Cut out the cancer and rebuild.

So, I assume we're going to be in zone coverage pretty much all day?

quote:

Saban on Mike Leach's Air Raid offense: "It's very effective and certainly something different than what you see week in and week out. I think you have to play differently against it."

Man I hope so. If we aren't then that straight up proves Golding doesn't watch film and refuses to learn from other team's success against Clanga.

Yea when he said “break on balls” and tackle in open space , I assumed we would follow the blueprint others have played

If we play Cover 2 and keep everything in front of us, we will pull the starters in the second quarter. Easily.

Don’t sell Moo State’s defense short. They have played very well this year. I expect them to get more stops on us than we would like.

I hate to bring this topic up again but If Michigan State lets Mel Tucker go do y’all think Saban would be interested in hiring him as DC?

Mich. St. isn't considering firing Mel Tucker.

I know that losing to Buttgers in the first game of his tenure is a really, really bad look, but there's no chance they can afford to fire him a year in.

Outside of LSwho #16 and A&M #38 offensively, Arky and Kentucky aren't exactly offensive juggernauts, 78 and 85 respectively.

Been reported for the longest in Michigan that Mark Dantonio stopped recruiting. He wasn't winning all those games, for all those years, without outworking the big boys. Mel Tucker has got to get all that momentum going again in a place that draws football players like 4 stars to Starkvegas.

**Wednesday update... Coach Saban commented on players practicing but still lots of players in black which means no major contact. Saban said Brown was ok so I hope so. Ray is out for this week.

Punt return with Waddle out will be Slade followed by 3 Williams and 14 Jones-Bell

As for WR… 6,8 and 18 will play most of game. Next up is 5 Baker then 3,11,14.

TE will be used more this week… Billingsley is going to have a big play at some point. 87 Miller will continue to be a Mac fav. Latu 81 is a sleeper and could save for big game. Tucker most likely will not play. 88 good blocker

I expect second team to play sooner this week. Bryce will play one rep with ones as he has done then with twos. Two line needs game experience. On defense we have played many DL but minimum game reps at corner and LB and I expect substitutes there sooner. Tyson will get work if Bryce gets 2 to 3 series. Coaches want to play as many players in case they need them down the stretch.

This team needs a bye week to get well.

Saw a stat from Suttles yesterday that Alabama’s defense ranks 1st in the SEC in QB pressures, but 12th in sacks.

Where would he see it at? Both CB spots and Star are locked up.
