I take what everyone says with a grain of salt at this point. Saban is a little more candid, but the players just fluff each other up lol. I believe I read that even Young’s father wants them to bring him along slowly. The lack of a spring has really hurt his first year, but saying that, he still passed Tyson

From all accounts Missouri has a pretty good Def. Should give us a good test of Oline.

Saban was pretty complimentary today of Mizzou's defense. He said it has 8 returning starters.

They were pesky as hell in the 2018 game. Played dirty.

Missouri under Pinkel had some studs pass through on defense.

Anybody seen the walk on punter kick? I was expecting a battle between Perine and Scott for punter, not this Sam Johnson kid.

They are always one of those teams that I expect to be dirty as hell. BYU and Virginia Tech are two others

I remember them twisting Ruggs knee and banging Tua up pretty good. They were throwing punches too. Hopefully nothing happens on Saturday.

Shane Ray's shot on Blake Sims in the '14' SECCG was about as cheap as they come. His azz deserved to be out of that game.

#47 LBer Cale Garret was the bum that was twisting Ruggs leg in hopes of an ACL injury. The guy got his own knee tore up last season against Wyoming early on. Poetic justice if there ever was.

its not good to put a freshman out there, but he really didnt have much competition. I hope he hold up in the big games. I guess we will see how he handles pressure in the Missouri game though. He will feel it. National TV, SEC game.

yep, Bryce's father said he didnt want to see his son crushed under the weight of expectations. Said he will play when he is ready.

Is he back at practice? If not, the roster doesn't mean a whole lot.

No offense, but I don't give a shite about those kicker camp ratings anymore. The only highly rated kicker we got out of one of those was JK and a blind fool could see how special he was. We've been burned by the kicking camp ratings more than once.

Has anyone seen Johnson punt?

I agree on the kicking camp ratings. I don't think anyone who's seen Johnson punting at Bama posts here. And I don't recall any posts on BOL reporting info from witnesses of him punting.

He played at Oak Mountain. Surely someone on this board saw him in high school.

Guess other schools don’t pay much attention either if he was the number two rated punter and didn’t receive a scholarship somewhere unless he just really wanted to play at UA

Most schools don’t offer scholarships to specialists. In fact, I’d imagine Alabama is one of the few that’s had kickers, punters, and snappers on scholarship all at the same time.
