Looks like LSU is about to take another hit, with chase opting out

Like I said a few weeks ago, I hope sitting out the jr year is not the “new norm”

What Brennan does at QB is much more significant than Chase not playing in my opinion.

Does it coincide though? If Chase is choosing to ride with his Burrow numbers?

LSU was always going to have a tough year this year, with what they lost last year.

Now with 3 starters opting out and another starter being kicked off the team, they might lose 4-5 games.

Nope, because this year a "gimme" for the players, even if they play.

On how many attempts though? That's the big question. If you gave Cade Foster 100 kicks from 50 he'd probably accidentally make one or two.

Cruel.

Exactly deer antler spray formula version 2. It’s the new stuff. Inject it right into you heart for faster results.

I just had lunch with my cousin, an LSU diehard, and we agreed as good as Chase is Brennan is the wildcard. LSU is stacked with skill players. If Brennan is serviceable that offense should be fine; not as good as last season but a good offense nonetheless.

Feels like this season is going to be the year of attrition. Depth and numbers will be the calling card for everyone making a run at the trophy. I don't see how a few of these teams, even now, are going to have practices that push the starters to get better and even scout teams giving the starters a good look at the opponents.

The timing of this makes me wonder if this decision is telling of Brennan. Why do this now? Why not make this decision before getting into practice and being on campus? He’s now been in close contact with all these players, and in the middle of a COVID hotspot (as all players at big universities are).

It’s possible that after seeing Brennan in practice for a few weeks, he’s decided the best business decision, to protect his draft stock, would be to not spend the year catching passes from Brennan. If that’s the case, LSU is in big trouble.
