were you the guy that wondered if the language barrier would be a problem?
is Tua aware of the culture?
for those keeping count, it was 5 references to Taulia and not a single reference to Lia.
Listen, call the kid what you want to call him. Call him Holly Golightly as far as I care, but I will call him by his name, and that's Taulia.
The guys at Tidefans get all goofy about some simple shite. This here is simple.

There are some posters on bol saying Baker prefers a 1 gap scheme(which is typical in a 4-3 defense) and didnt want to run Saban's 2 gap system. If that truly was the case then I have been really critical on the wrong coach. If the dline isnt taking care of their responsibilities, how is the rest of the defense supposed to do their jobs correctly?
The same thing was said about Kuligowski, who we paid a large sum of money to sit on his arse and do nothing this year. Why aren't they being vetted before they are hired?

Dantonio catching hell from some corners for resigning on the eve of NSD. Accusing him of sabotaging the program.

I would have loved to have Moses out there instead, but I can’t hate on a true freshman who did everything his body type allowed him to do. Seems like a great kid and nobody could beat him out.
FWIW, not sure there would have been a ton of difference between him and McMillon (hoping to eat those words as I love McMillon).
Would love to see him tried at Jack if he’s capable. Just seems like a better fit.
Also, FWIW, I think he’s a lot faster than he looks. But he’s just not an ideal space player and looks worse in space due to his build.
Nobody uses a true fullback anymore, but I would imagine that’s his true calling.

No way he is capable of playing JACK at 6'0. He is the shortest LB on the team. Short guys don't have the leverage to run fit against OTs and set the edge.
OLB:
Jennings - 6'3
Lewis - 6'5
Davis - 6'4
Allen - 6'4
Mwikuta - 6'5
Parks - 6'4
K. Harris - 6'4
ILB:
Lee - 6'0
Kaho - 6'1
Benton - 6'2
C. Harris - 6'2
Moody - 6'2
McMillon - 6'3
Moses - 6'3

Lee is not 6'0"...that i know for a fact

Lee is a dang fullback. I want that shite on my tombstone
Posted on 2/5/20 at 10:17 am to Cobrasize
I'll make sure it happens but that is going to be a confused stone carver 40 years from now, especially since fullbacks won't exist by then. I will also include an image of any eye candy featured on barstool sports the day you pass as well, my treat.

They are coming in telling Saban that they will run his desired scheme choice, teach that technique probably with the thought in the back of their mind that when they get on the ground they will be given more freedom to make their own decisions within the defense (similar to how you sell yourself in any job interview). Instead, they are coming in with these visions of how to get more out of the dline using their preferred method/scheme which just isn't compatible with what Saban wants to run.

Following that line of thought, seems to be on Saban for hiring guys that don't fit his style if this same thing has happened twice.
I think it's just too convenient of an excuse to mask a bad hire that was championed a year prior.
Reality is some of these hires overall haven't been as good as advertised when they come in, as excited as we get with new assistants.

While I don't think he'd do well at JACK either, I think it's more due to his build as opposed to height. Eryk Anders did pretty well there and he was only 6'1"...and Courtney Upshaw was 6'2"...

Lee is a roster filler just like #42. He could get better going forward unlike 42 or 36.
Posted on 2/5/20 at 3:46 pm to JoseyWalesTheOutlaw
Lee was the #5 ILB in the country out of high school. High 4-star. Started 16 games at the most important position in Saban's defense as a true freshman, granted out of necessity. That's not a roster filler.

What was the raking of #10 and # 36 out of high school? Lee ain't it and he's not going to be it unless we continue to have a less than great defense.
So Lee can’t get better? Man... I understand he didn’t have a great year but it also doesn’t help he was put in situations not meant for him.
The kid will only be a sophomore next season... Jesus! Give him a chance.

BamaFan107,
Just let it go, these posters form these opinions which may have some truth to, make their opinions known and keep harping. They repeat the same stuff until it just aggravates the shite out of everyone besides their clique, better to just ignore them

Lee was rated No 1 MLB by ESPN too. He was highly coveted. With proper grooming no one would be ridiculing him. He was just thrown into the fire too soon.

The guy played 13 games and never made but one play that I recall. Hell Ray Charles might have made the same number of plays.
I will bet you any amount of money you want to name that Shane Lee was a better inside linebacker in 2019 than Ray Charles would have been.
(Don't anybody tell Josey that Ray Charles died in 2004, please.)

You can still use Stevie Wonder for your blind jokes people.
Damn his catalog is amazing.
