Yea, everyone knew that his decision hinged on how his doctor appointment went. He might have been set on coming back and then got really good news.

The players who haven't announced they're leaving up until now are staying: Tua, Smith, Ruggs and Najee.

Well Najee isn't, so

Exactly. No one knows and when the narrative gets spun without knowing all the facts, it's unfair to Tua.

This "he told the staff he's coming back on Thursday" story sounds like a load of BS.

Boz can only give us what he is told. People change their minds all the time, so people getting mad at him are dumb.

Before Bama was elite but looking to head into that direction. Three years is all you will ever get out of the elite players on your team going forward so best to plan on it. LSU had a year like this several years back where they lost a ton of Jr's that went early. 2020 is going to be a very difficult year for Bama.

My list remains the same as posted days ago but rehash

Leather-stayed
Moses-stayed
Tua-staying
Smith-Staying
Ruggs- staying

McKinney- final source told me this morning he is staying
Wills- said he is staying to one source not the other so I say 80% stay

I mean, it's not a stretch to say he seems full of shite.

We’ve been fortunate in the past with not getting too burned by losing guys but as we saw this year, that can go in the other direction after a few injuries and recruiting misses. Not only do you lose talent, but you lose experience & maturity that could set the tone for younger guys.

I knew it was a long shot, but was really hoping we could dodge that bullet somewhat this year because of next year’s schedule.

But he wasn’t the only “insider” to have this same info. Insiders on other sites said the same thing. Sounds like when everyone was still on campus and together they wanted to come back, and then they got home and around families and things changed. Can’t blame Boz, what he gave us was probably true at the time

I doubt Smitty and Ruggs both leave. Otherwise, we would've landed Arian Smith and/or Xzavier Henderson, and made a bigger push to land the latter. There's no way Saban got caught with his pants down and holding the bag again like he did on NSD in 2018, where shite hit the fan. There's also no way that Smith and Henderson would turn down the opportunity to start from day 1 and have Taulia or Bryce throwing them the ball for the next 3 years. I refuse to believe it. I trust Saban and that he learned his lesson from 2018. He knows something that we don't. I have no inside information, but I'll eat the biggest crow if I'm wrong.

We’ve come out of this with egg on our faces, particularly because of the Alabama Football twitter’s stupid dominos gif. I really don’t expect Tua or Smith to stay at this point.

I don't get why people are getting mad about this shite. If that whole ruggs situation didn't teach you how many variables goes into these decisions and just how difficult this is to these guys, then I dont know what will

So obviously Wills is gone but was on the fence.

Ruggs and McKinney are on the fence but I’ve been told to expect McKinney to go pro and Ruggs to potentially stay.

Everything else has stayed the same with Tua and Smith.
