so, in order to keep talented players that are head cases, you just let them run amuck? so long as they perform on the field, they dont have to go to class? just win championships, we will fix all those failed drug tests? no rules for the most talented 'ship winners? rules only apply to those who aren't as talented. correct?

Did you not see that huge sack last week for Davis?

He is clearly the leader of the 3rd string, it would probably cripple the 3rd string defense if Bama lost him.

Too bad 5-star high school studs Anoma and Alfano won't be around to take over for 5-star high school studs like Ben Davis next season.

At least Davis didn't quit due to tougher than expected competition for early playing time like Alfano or get dismissed from UA like Anoma.

Not bashing Ben Davis. Just making the point that talent alone, performing well against HS players is no guarantee those guys have what it takes to be big contributors early on a talented college team.

Losing 2-3 guys from a recruiting class who are irresponsible quitters isn't a "huge problem." It's actually better if they quit early, instead of later.

apparently 3 of the 4 walking wounded will be back for AU. With big 99 being the only lingering issue?

You and your Surge homeboy should rally around the folks we have including the Davis kid. Kind of pathetic that you guys would openly denigrate the kid in this thread.

I don't think I denigrated Ben Davis. I mentioned him as an example to make a couple of points, crediting him for not being a quitter. And I think Boz was just kidding around. Apparently, all of that went right over your head.

Alabama has made the decision it won’t be redshirting Taulia Tagovailoa, who has played in four games. Is now the backup quarterback and will play on Saturday, per Saban.

“(Tua’s injury) kind of negated the opportunity to redshirt Taulia,” Saban said.

Im going to miss seeing all those perfect passes tomorrow. He was fun to watch and I wont be able to send text messages to my Bama friends saying "its Tua Time" right before kickoff.
But we cant beat up on Mac Jones because he isnt Tua.
