WR separation better?

The scheme is better. It’s giving the WR angles and cuts to do something. I felt like it was more free to get open if you will.

Yes he was still lining up at 1 but they rotated that position heavily. Niblack is athletic, I could see him sneaking out on someone.

This is very good to hear. BOB was the worst in the business at this.

What about the Running Backs? Did you see them do any live running, and if so did anyone standout in particular?

I know I mostly lurk but Boz, you've been the real MVP this off season! Thanks for giving us some crumbs. I can't wait to see this team in action next weekend. Everybody is freaking out over QB but forgetting football is a team sport. If not winning a championship with Bryce Young hasn't taught anybody that, I don't think you'll ever learn

I like Miller. But can’t ignore the Jase and Roydell factor.

Law was really good. Bond made a few catches, and Benson.

Benson dropped some last week but didn’t this week.

Burton caught his. He doesn’t seem super dynamic but reliable now.

Love Law. I think he is going to be a really good one.

How did Lonergan look? Is he still pushing for time or pretty clearly behind the other 3?

What about the DL & ILB? Does the D look more solid through the middle? That was one of the glaring weaknesses last year.

ETA: thanks for all the tidbits Boz!

Athletic compared to recent Alabama TEs, or like OJ Howard athletic? If the latter he could have a big year with Rees calling plays.

Milroe needs a reliable Norwood/Metchie WR, I hope Burton can be that

I hope we try to motion him into the backfield from initial empty sets and hand the ball off to him some.

Lonergan looks good. I mean 2-4 seems rather liquid at the moment . Hard to say he’s above or below.

DL and front 7 in general look better. Very aggressive. The middle doesn’t look like it will give ground as easy.

This is really good to hear. Sounds like they've really put an emphasis on eliminating drops.

Everything we're hearing sounds like the best case scenario since the last scrimmage.

Drops - gone.
Milroe and the passing game - looking good.
Defense - rock solid.

Let's freaking go
