I keep seeing this Milroe and Coker comparison. What are you all smoking? These 2 guys are absolutely nothing alike. The closest comparison to Milroe is easily Blake Sims. Lonergan is probably our closest QB to Coker's skillset.

The closest comparison to Milroe is Jalen Hurts, and it isn’t close. Big, strong, fast, 2-read and take off young QB.

Sims was smaller, slower, had a weaker arm than Milroe, and he was a senior.

How good was South Carolina's defense?

Much better than the one we put out there.

I would be ecstatic if Milroe played as well as Sims. That would be much better than expected.

It’s exactly the point. Hell Bryce in BOB’s shitty offense beat that defense.

But what makes Milton better than Milroe?

The truth is nobody knows because neither one of them hasn’t had enough playing time to know. I picked Milroe because im a Bammer and Milroe is a Bammer and Simpson is a Bammer and even Buchner is a Bammer now. Good play bad play Milroe looks to be the man and I’m cheering for him.

No argument there.

In my opinion he’s got more arm talent and had more success in limited action than Milroe. I’d feel more confident with his skill set than Milroe if I had to beat UGA. All roads lead through them.

JC Latham must have been some fever dream I had then.

Yep. I guess that Tyler Booker doesn’t exist either. That guy is such a fricking troll. Unreal

I don’t put a lot of stock in final spring games, but go watch Tenn spring game. Nico Iamaleava the back up to Milton is going to be very good. Wouldn’t be surprised if he becomes the starter sometime during the season. That fricker is very talented.

Don’t argue with him. He trolls the BOL site under the same handle poor mouthing Bama. It’s not worth getting worked up over.

Say whatever you want big dog. I never said UGA was the only team to shut them down. You brought up USC. No matter.

The point is the same. UT will be fine with Milton as they have a great offense. UGA will be in Atlanta waiting on us.

Hopefully Milroe can throw the deep ball as well as Blake.

Boz says practice is over. He's compiling his thoughts and will post them here when he's ready.

Ok I was just watching it all and then posting some thoughts.

About over.

Milroe is definitely QB1.

7 on 7 he made some good throws. A nice deep pass. Quite a few slants. And some busted play but made a play.

I watched Milroe do a few simulated tuck and runs and he is really fast. Like, I’d be shocked if he isn’t a 4.4 flat guy. There is going to be a game or two where he breaks a team in half with that.

Simpson had some good throws, missed a few but overall it was good.

Buchner the same, led the offense in drills well, very calm and cool.

Dalcourt and Ferguson took the exact same reps at 1. I counted lol.

Not a single drop in 7 on 7. Thank god.

I am really liking Law. He is solid.

Defense looks really good. I could be off but man them seem fast to the ball and aggressive. Turner and Braswell are going to wreck shop.

Overall I feel good about Milroe but in general about our QBs. If one has issues I feel comfortable with a switch up and maybe they take off.

Let me know if you have any specific group questions.

WR separation better? Clearly they caught the ball better which usually indicates they had clean air space around the ball.
