Whoa now. Let's not get too carried away. Spearing a QB in the head, with obvious intent, can be interpreted a lot of ways.

Seriously though, if someone did that shite to Brady he'd have been summarily executed on the field by Goodell.

So, have there been any reports out of Monday's practice of any big changes after the scrimmage?

They absolutely prison raped Bama on penalties and anybody that says otherwise is full of shite!

When the officials take 10 minutes to figure out how many downs had been played (after UT's failed 4th down), you know you're not dealing with even a halfway decent crew. I thought for sure they were going to give Tenn a 5th down with the way the calls were going that day.

Tenn put him in the slot and/or off the LOS and we never got a bump on him on any of his TDs. Here's a 2min highlight video if you can stomach it, but it's infuriating that we let Hyatt have these insane free releases (and never put a CB on him).

When you watch the highlights, you see that Tennessee really did not do anything special. Other than the td where they brought him in motion coming across the formation, every td was basically, “Our man can beat your man”

Bama lost that game because of 17 million penalties for 260 million yards When a team has a many penalties as Bama had against that ugly arse orange piece of shite of a team the odds of you winning are pretty damn low.

The first thing Kirby Smart said a week later after our TN game is, If we let the TN qb stand 3 steps behind their center and never put any pressure on him, its going to be a long afternoon. That, was a direct shot at how the Ala D line played vs TN.

Kevin Steele was the best thing that could have happened for this program right now.

Like him or not, in this system, there won't be any more sitting back and waiting for contact.

Or the Leroy Jenkins blitz from the back 40 for that matter.

You mean the loopty loop blitzes that looked like a Hot Wheels track when they were drawn up before anyone got to the QB? It was the last thing the opponent would expect!

One of the worst officiating games I’ve ever seen!

Been watching football for almost 25 years, can't recall one game when a team had 17 penalties on them..

We had 15 vs UCLA in 2001, but only for 93 yds.

UCLA had zero.
