Weather delay with us up 12-1.
Please tell me this score will hold if they cancel the rest of the game.

We are in pretty good shape tomorrow. Hope the bats carry over. One would think if we get to their bullpen early again they will be up shits creek. We have a full arsenal tomorrow and could use AD for 2-3 innings if needed.

What an awesome response today! Winning again tomorrow would be oh so helpful. Listened to Chris Stewart on the radio today - during the first inning when the A&M pitcher was struggling so bad the team was counting the balls he threw (ball four, ball four) just like A&M and the rest of the stadium was doing to Luke last night. Third base umpire gave them a warning and made them stop. Did they show or discuss that on TV? Ridiculous double standard. My only outrage of the day

ALABAMA WINS!
The Tide is Hoover Bound after clobbering the cadets in College Station, 12-1.
Bama got a pair of three-run bombs from Andrew Pinckney and a two-run shot from Colby Shelton in the rout.
Garrett McMillan pitched six outstanding innings to earn the win.

In general the team doing the counting balls chant is kind of different than the fans in the stands doing it and I’m personally not a fan. Now with that said the A&M dugout could’ve been chirping yesterday too and in that case sometimes you have to give it back.

Eight-Run Fifth Leads Baseball to 12-1 Run-Rule Win over Texas A&M
The Tide used an eight-run fifth to help secure the series-tying win on Saturday
An eight-run fifth inning propelled Alabama baseball to a 12-1 win over Texas A&M in seven innings on Saturday at Blue Bell Park. The Crimson Tide is now 34-17 on the season and 12-14 in Southeastern Conference play.
The Tide jumped out front early, using a three-run homer from Andrew Pinckney to take a 3-0 lead after one inning of play. Alabama added one more in the third before the huge eight-run fifth. In that fifth, the Tide recorded six hits, including a pair of home runs – Pinckney's second three-run shot of the day along with a two-run homer from Shelton. The Aggies broke up the shutout with a solo homer in the sixth but would get no closer, with the game ending after seven innings due to the run rule.
Pinckney led the Alabama offense with a 3-for-5 day that included his two homers, two runs and a career-high and team-best six RBI. Shelton also contributed two RBI as part of a 2-for-4 effort with a walk and one run scored. Jim Jarvis matched Shelton's RBI total and finished 2-for-4 with two runs and a hit-by-pitch.
The huge offensive day allowed Tide starter Garrett McMillan (2-2) to settle in for the win. The senior allowed just one run on six hits and a walk with a season-high seven strikeouts across 6.0 innings of work. Braylon Myers followed with a scoreless seventh to ensure the series-tying win.
From Interim Head Coach Jason Jackson
"I was excited to play early today after a rough one last night. We came out and attacked in the first inning, putting three runs on the board before they recorded an out. (Andrew) Pinckney giving us that three-run home run in the fifth was a big lift and got us out of the gates hot, and we carried that momentum the rest of the way."
