Shelton with ANOTHER bomb. That makes 2 more this game and 9 this year.
Has to be the leading candidate for SEC Freshman of the Year and in the discussion for even Player of the Year. UNREAL start to his career

For something as innocuous as a Player of the Week graphic I doubt it passes over many eyes before it goes out. Heck, maybe just one set - the person designing it. Sometimes when you're working on something and you get kind of buried in it, it's easy to gloss over even obvious mistakes.
It would be shocking to me for the University to have only one set of eyes on something that will be posted to social media.

He seems to have IT. Hope it carries over to league play.

Denton with a chance to win it for Tennessee.....rolls over weakly to 1B.

Nice contingent of Bama fans at Samford tonight. Awesome start. Holman was lights out. After the big lead the subs struggled mightily including multiple pitchers. Hagan Banks came in and shut it down. Not going to complain about 13-0. Back in Tuscaloosa tomorrow.
Holman’s Standout Start, Home Runs Lead Baseball to 11-6 Win at Samford
Holman tossed 5.0 scoreless, hitless frames while the Tide offense homered five times in the game
Alabama baseball paired Luke Holman's hitless start with five home runs to take down Samford, 11-6, on Tuesday evening at Joe Lee Griffin Field. The win moved the Crimson Tide to 13-0 on the season.
Luke Holman (3-0) was masterful in his start against the Bulldogs, picking up his third win of the season. The sophomore struck out a career-high and Alabama season-best 12 batters while not allowing a hit across his 5.0 innings of work.
Holman's start was paired with five total home runs by the Crimson Tide offense. Leading the way was Colby Shelton, with the freshman homering twice on the night and totaling a team-high three RBI. Dominic Tamez added a pair of RBI with his two-run shot to go with solo homers from Jim Jarvis and Drew Williamson.
From Head Coach Brad Bohannon
"This was a great effort by our club tonight. I really liked the way we came out swinging the bats, scoring five of the first six innings to take an 11-0 lead. You pair that with Luke Holman, who gave us an electric 5.0 innings of no-hit baseball. I'm excited to get back out there tomorrow and continue to build some momentum."

I din't even know he'd transferred.
I hate him now.

His brother is constantly getting into it with Bama fans on twitter. It's pretty pathetic actually.

I wished him the best when he initially transferred but the way his brother acted on social media last night, they belong in Knoxville.
