Being able to defensively handle SS at the SEC level is WAY different than managing to do it in HS.

Yea, the speed of the game and required arm strength between even high level HS ball and the SEC is pretty big

I understand that but if a good coach only has one option at any position then he is a lousy coach. Bo has a back up plan at SS should our current starter go down. My point is give that person some PT during SEC play and see what he can do. Do you agree or not?

There may be another option on the bench who is just young or inexperienced right now. SS is a position where defense is first .... any hitting is gravy if you don’t have a stud there

I think everyone would like to see higher batting averages - but I have remind myself that Caden Rose is a true freshman which means he missed his senior year playing in high school and experiencing his first taste of SEC pitching. He has made amazing defensive plays in centerfield on more than one occasion. IF he can get on base he’s one of the fastest players on the team. It is frustrating to watch batters strike out without swinging at all. I’m not sure who I world rather see in CF to replace Caden who would be a substantially better choice at the plate. Coach Bohannon does seem to be rotating quite a bit to try and find the best combination of offense and defense. Hope we can get another W today

I played SS in college at D2 in late 80s early 90s and man just watching the Arky OM game yesterday and the plays those SS were making ...... don’t even think I could get a scholly in today’s game

Should be able to get Chase for 2+ innings right?
Not like aTm has a bunch of studs left to throw either.
But you may be right about needing 10 runs
