Yeah, I shouldn't have said dead arm.
What I should have said is soreness or something similar to that.

I am not positive that a player who has tested positive for COVID is not allowed to be around his own team or to go through the high-five line, with a face-diaper, since the player can stay 6 feet away from team-mates and teams are probably responsible for their own players' safety in whatever way they deem appropriate. As for the high-five line, you don't have a significant amount of time in close proximity to others.

That Mike Sodders guy was getting himself prepped to be a strike breaker in the Mid 1990s. He and I worked out together some. We did some live BP in the cages one day, just fastballs. Man, I could not touch that guy.

Tuscaloosa News has a story out now....

Alabama outfielder T.J. Reeves had surgery on his hand and will be out for several weeks, multiple sources close to the Alabama baseball program told The Tuscaloosa News.

The sources told The Tuscaloosa News that Reeves injured the hand in a slide Wednesday against Troy, a 9-1 win.

Reeves battled a hamstring injury in the preseason that kept him out of opening weekend. He is hitting .500 in 12 at-bats, with two of his six hits going for extra bases: a double and a home run.

Safe to assume all three games this weekend will be on that?

At present, yes. Just checked all three games and FlosportsTV is listed for all of them. Looks like that company does all of Charleston’s sports. This is one of their home game series so I guess their provider is covering it. I’ll either watch the stats or listen to Chris Stewart on the tunein app (<-which works great on my phone).

Didn’t Alabama lose in a regional at Charleston with Jim Wells as head coach?

I think that was Coastal? It was late in his tenure, too, because I think I was an upperclassman.
We did play @ Charleston a few years ago, though.
EDIT: Yes - it was Coastal in 2008 as a #3 seed
Game 1 - Beat ECU 16-3
Game 2 - Lost to Coastal 13-10
Game 3 - Lost to ECU 16-1
The next season was his last season, when we were in the Clemson regional and went 2 and a bbq against Oklahoma State and Tennessee Tech.

Ah. Yes. 2008 at Coastal. Wells nearly retired after that season. Only to come back for one season to hand it over to Gaspard.
