I'd rather draft Milroe than Jackson.

We won the SEC championship last year with him as our QB. I would love to see him leave the program and take his lank buddies with him.

I'm talking national championship. He won't be able to be put enough consistent games together to win one. His play is way too inconsistent. It's best to move on.

I've never seen a QB with the highs and lows Milroe has had the past 2 years...some great performances, but the most inconsistent Bama QB I can remember.

I wish him well and hope he signs a huge NFL contract. Even 2nd round would offer more money than NIL...and NIL isn't guaranteed year to year if he did return so that might be the biggest risk option.

Laugh all you want. Jackson is a cancer in Baltimore. Joe Flacco won a title there in a much tougher league. Dude beat Manning IN Denver on his way to the Superbowl.

Jackson can't beat his meat.

Antonio Brown was a cancer. Calling Lamar a cancer is beyond stupid

I agree with a great many things you've posted on this board but this ain't one of them.

That's okay. Agree to disagree on Lamar Jackson.

I wouldn't mind Milroe announcing to play in the bowl game, just to make Michigan prepare for him. How much to use him could be optional. Give Ty and the others more prep than usual. and let them have a substantial role in the game.

I’m interested to see if Mason Graham and Kenneth Walker play in the bowl game for Michigan. Those guys are both first round picks and caused us a lot of problems last year.

And the inconsistency isn't just game to game, it's series to series and play to play.

The Auburn game encapsulates his career all in one day. So maddening.

I thought I was the only one who dislikes Jackson.

Everyone just loves them some Jackson. Guy can't even win a playoff game.

Was listening to Josh Pate on Ryan Fowler show. He had some interesting takes on CFP committee but on Jalen as well. He basically said that in Kalens address to media yesterday he “thanked the WR for being patient and understanding that the offense we ran this year was out of necessity to put Bama in the best position to win” but this is not the offense we want to run. Pate went on to say that this is the reason that Odom is transferring is frustration due to being wide open in several games. Note able Oklahoma and TN and Jalen never seeing him.

Jalen's not coming back so I don't see the need in him transferring. He'll have someone next season who can get him the ball and actually see the field.

I'm 100% certain he's gone. Now, I'm just hoping his ego deludes him into thinking he needs to "save himself for the draft" and he skips the bowl game.

He reminds me of the guy in the film "Kung Pow" who's getting his arse kicked in a fight and he thinks losing is winning. That's Milroe. Too stupid to realize he's stupid.

I went to every game in 2022 and 2023 at home and I saw open receivers when Young was throwing them in the "wrong" spot and I saw the same from Milroe. However, I've never heard anyone bitch about our Heisman winner missing open receivers or wrong shouldering his receivers. However, he definitely did all those negative things. However, he is a more natural playmaker as a passer so the mistakes are not as amplified.

Milroe's problem has always been a perplexing combination of timidity and self-assuredness. His interception against Auburn was pure hubris where he thought he could fit a ball with 3 defenders in the area such that his receiver would high point it however he sailed the MFer to the safety behind the Bernard instead. Other times, he seemingly is waiting for receivers to be open because he's not confident enough to throw before they make their break. This was a big problem v. Tennessee in 2024 but it has happened repeatedly in his career.

I don't know how you can coordinate around someone like that as a passer. Sometimes he's trying to give his receivers highlight reel throws and other times he's lacking in their trust to do basic execution.

I'm sure it is maddening for coaches more than us because they see the potential in practice but he's just not a consistent gamer.

To go somewhere where they could potentially be featured and not to have live in Ryan William's shadow?

Prentice is an obvious one. Law I can understand since he was so underutilized. Him putting the ball on the ground more than once when he finally did get his opportunities didn't help his case. Odom probably knows it will be an uphill climb for him and dipped out.

He's projected to be the third QB taken off the board in the NFL draft and next years QB class will be a lot better. He almost has to leave this year to get drafted high.

True, but maybe he can transfer to a school that already has an established qb. Then he knows for sure what he’s in for. Also might be able to make some money.
