Pretty obvious, isn't it?

The 251 guy comments specifically about me with some crazy thing, I respond, then LukeSidewalkerStalker shows up in his rape van from down down by the river.

Huddie,

While I disagree with a vast majority of your post concerning football, especially strategy, you, River, and CD are entitled to your thoughts no matter how flagrant they may seem. So my apologies and Roll Tide!

Wait a minute. You didn't just perpetuate it did you?

Think about it.

edit: "I don't like so much extraneous stuff in my serious football thread so I'm going to egg it on"

There are several threads focused on Jalen vs Tua and offensive issues. Why do people keep hijacking so many threads, rehashing the same Jalen vs Tua pissing contest, typically full of animosity because they disagree? So much negative energy. They seem to enjoy arguing.

I haven't read every post in this thread so I may have missed it, but yours is the first post I have seen that mentions a Jalen vs Tua pissing contest, or even mentions the name of one of them, for that matter.

edit: ok. So I reviewed back a few pages and see there was some discussion of that. Nevermind.

I'm not trying to point fingers or lay blame. Just in general -- everyone needs to be careful to avoid derailing threads down that path. Like I said, there are some active threads for QB & offense discussion. And anyone can start a new one anytime.

Why all the hostility?

Why hate on Tua? Jesus, I can understand being pro Hurts, but why attack Tua? He seems like a good kid to me. He traveler like 8000 miles to play here. Only to have a bunch of yahoos dis him.

Whats up with that?

May have been addressed but do you guys see a dramatic difference in strategy offensive for the playoffs?

That's an excellent question for two reasons: 1. It's just a good question and 2. Maybe it can get this thread back on track!

The Iron Bowl replays tonight on the SEC network. I think it's late so I am recording it and will re-watch to see firsthand if our offensive play calling was as abysmal as I remember.

ETA: The IB replay on SEC network is at 12:30 pm 12/27 - I initially read it as 12:30 AM 12/27. Oops.

I wonder if Auburn took away the short and intermediate passing game so that is why we tried to run longer routes. If that's the case Daboll really needs to figure out a way for Jalen to hit some easy completions early on. Would love to see a 2011 BCS Champ game style passing attack. Easy passes to the H-Backs and TEs to start off with.

I have no clue - that game is a blur to me - probably because I took a Lortab and drank 2 glasses of wine when it was over.

The only thing I remember with absolute clarity was the chorus of "why in the frick aren't we running the GD ball?" So if they were shutting down the short passes and Jalen was having trouble with long passes and finding open receivers then may we should have run the GD ball. I dunno.

I agree. Maybe the coaching staff has come with something. I think that we have a good shot.
