I don’t think so. He is injury prone and needs to go play in the NFL while he can.

Tua should stay for a free year of rehab/education according to what I've heard. He could be non-football for a year, at minimum

just hate that it turned into the same feeling I have when Tua gets tackled as when we trot a kicker onto the field

good analogy.
I think we all have had the same feeling. Tua needs to figure out something to keep himself protected better, because he hasn't done well at that while at Bama.

I like your idea.

Come back? So we can do this all over again, next year?

When Tua's playing career is finished (hopefully after a successful 10 year tenure and a ring or two) he will make a helluva QB coach or eventual play caller at the Capstone

He's actually got two free years if he needs them.

He could spend this year rehabbing and getting his degree. He could also help coach his brother.
I would have to see the difference in QBs from this season to next before I could give an honest opinion

He is looking at a 6-8 month recovery according to reports.

Hope he doesn’t. He’s done more than enough for Bama and deserves his shot at the next level

He needs to go make that NFL money while he can. What will be interesting is where he gets taken in the draft.
Does a team risk a 1st round pick and all that guaranteed money on him?
Or do teams wait and potentially get a bargain pick later in the draft?
My fear with the latter as far as Tua goes, he won't be getting as much money if he goes late and will have to play out his rookie contract and who's to say he doesn't get hurt again in that timeframe

If I'm Tua's dad, I'd see it more like "Mac Jones isn't that special... Taulia could start next year as long as Tua isn't there blocking him".
Can't imagine he'd come back, he should just get his money before he gets hurt again.

He shouldn't.

I'm kind of surprised that so many Bama fans aren't as high on Taulia. He looked pretty dynamic and dangerous in our spring game, but I admit that I didn't watch him much in high school, and his last name could be contributing to my expectations of him.
