Any chance Tua rehabs, skips this draft, and comes back for 1 more?

I would take my chances with the draft, but he could make himself a lot of money by making it through a season without injury.

Plus his college legacy wouldn’t someday be defined by injuries.

It’ll be a tough decision.

I wouldn't. He is another play away from injury. He has given his body and soul for Bama. He has to move forward.

or 0 money if he hurts himself worse. For his own sake, I 100% want him to go pro

Slim chance but who knows? It’s a personal decision and I hope that he’s advised to do what’s best for him.

He’s already done so much for the Tide.

It just depends on the length of rehab, in my opinion.

I feel so bad for Tua and the entire family

Guys like Tua have insurance for such a situation.

Unless he has about a $50 million insurance policy, it is too much of risk for another injury in college.

Length of rehab and draft grade at this point. It's not zero percent

I agree with this

Even if he comes back, there's no guarantee that he plays. This is a severe injury

I sure hope he doesn’t. Take the money now. He’s too good of a guy for us to get selfish. He’s done all he can for us. The Bryce Young Era starts next year, time to get excited for that. I want to see Tua have a long and profitable career.

Honestly CJ Mosley's dislocated hip injury looked way worse than Tua's. Since we know there's no break now that clears things up a lot for us and Tua. For Tua he goes through a 4-6 month rehab and will get drafted hopefully by an established franchise; a functional franchise.

Has it been confirmed that there wasn’t a fracture ? ESPN still saying it is in ticker . I saw the tweet by the doctor but it could have been a general statement

I'm going with the medical doctor's statement because he has professional standards that he has to meet that are way more rigorous than the standards ESPN has to meet.

Nothing has been confirmed. You're right to hold your optimism. They must be testing for blood flow and tissue damage

I gotcha . Not trying to stir anything up , just asking question and hoping there was a statement saying it was not broken

I'm not sure that statement was meant to be an in-depth description of the injury. I think it was more along the lines of "he, hurt his hip, but we expect a full recovery."

But why?

If he is 100%, and back to being a high draft choice, no way in hell should he come back.

Make some bank kid.
