@CecilHurt 9m
Anthony Grant will remain as Alabama's basketball coach, sources confirm.

Sucks that when this news is announced, the rest of the conference celebrates.

Yea they're having a field day, as expected. Hopefully he somehow proves them wrong, I'm not holding my breath though...

If Auburn lucks up and hires Bruce Pearl.

How far behind do we fall?

No amount of luck will get Pearl to Auburn, that's not something worth worrying about.

It wouldn't be a bad move. He could recruit and there's no doubt in my mind that he'd have Auburn successful as long as Grant is in Tuscaloosa. And yes, I'm aware of the success Grant has vs. Pearl.

He will not go to AU, period. No matter how many times you post it, won't happen

auburn might get stans

and while i would normally support the worst person in the world going to the worst place in the world, he would be a recruiting threat

Barbee getting fired has something to do with Bama keeping Grant.

We could probably kiss goodbye instate recruits. Grant better land Jackson Davis/Jeff Garrett to round out this class and only have Engstrom leave. I'm sure Jacobs is gone but I wish he could stay. It's nice having a post player that can score a little bit.

- Jacobs could be a very good role player if used correctly.

- If Engstom and Jacobs leave, is Bama down to one true post player?

Yep. It would be the same problem Grant has had every year.
