Kirby has been working on that game tape sense the end of the sec cg. He’s had plenty of time to make corrections. Hope fully Bama coaches adjust some things to disguise what we’re doing.

He basically had an entire season to prepare and adjust for bama in the SECCG.

In my opinion, this NC game will tell a lot about Bryce. He’s got the Heisman… he’s beaten Georgia with a really good game … and he can always win NC game next year.

Is he good or is he next level Tom Brady , Michael Jordan moxy of winning no matter what?!

Super hard to beat a great team twice in a season. The key will be another stout defensive game from our guys and the OL giving Bryce time to throw. It does seem like our team has finally gelled, developed leadership and are peaking at the right time.

I just hate that we have so many key injuries--namely, Metchie. I was hoping to see 19 fill some of that void yesterday, but he just doesn't seem to have the same juice this year for whatever reason. OL also looked like they reverted back to crappy pass pro yesterday, which is a big concern.

If people want to blitz, we have to make them pay and pay dearly. Do some things we usually don't do or UGA has not seen.

Get the ball to those greyhounds on a jailbreak screen. slip screens to the RB or TE when they come all out. or quick traps right at them.

seem to recall them blitzing a decent amount and us stonewalling them. Idk maybe I'm wrong.

Here’s a video showing only and all of Bama’s offensive plays against UGA’s defense

Like I said they sent 4 for most of the first half and some of the 2nd. Looks like all 3 of Bryce’s TD passes had 4 rushers. When they started sending 5-6 they started to get pressure including some unblocked rushers. Of course they didn’t get a sack still but the pocket was collapsing a lot quicker on many of these plays.

Bennett is constantly being downplayed.

Guy is third in QBR this year right behind Bryce. Hell he carved us up in game 1

I feel the opposite. I think people have used the “he’s so underrated” schtick so much that he’s become overrated

He can run but when we made him pass even a bit of pressure caused throws to go Wild. Battle dropped another pick 6 early, and there were several plays I noted where he was just off target for an incompletion, or like on at least one occasion he dumped it to a RB but the pass was inaccurate which caused the play to get blown up.

Bennett is a good college QB but if he's playing an athletic defense that's sound fundamentally he's not going to be as successful.

Regardless of what happens, I love the shite out of these kids, they have at every turn proved us wrong. I’ve been wrong, a lot of us have. They never quit, regardless of the task at hand.

Agreed. I love this team. Win or lose.

and Brooks did just fine and in my opinion is the greater deeper threat than Metchie. We will throw a lot more against UGA than we did Cincy. It’s scheme and by design.

Such a great point. The fact that we have so many fans freak out about Metchie let’s me know we have a ton of fans who don’t really know football.

This is a very generous statement. He’s an average QB at best. A good QB would make UGA tough to beat with all of those offensive weapons.

It comes down to the offensive line being able to play up to standard and our defense trying to limit big plays. Bowers, Cook and Jermaine Burton are the big play guys. And, of course, special teams and turnovers. Turnovers were the difference last time in the second half.

The online played well because we matchup well against them. They have big slow dlineman that are built to stop the run. You can’t stop a Bama offense with linemen like that.

It's going to be much closer than the previous game. The outcome of that game hinged on four plays: 2 interceptions (one of which was a pick 6), the missed FG and the failed 4th and long play; three trips into the redzone and zero points
If Georgia can clean up the miscues and force Bama into a couple, it will be much closer. Hoping for another trophy.

That's something that's got to be accounted for, and I'm sure they'll draw up something for it. The key is picking up the blitz pre snap. If Bama can do that with any amount of success, they'll be good. When GA sent 4, our line held up pretty well. Seems like GA sent LBs in most of the time to flood gaps and cause pressure, but that frees up the middle of the field.

We desperately need to get Latu and Billingsley more involved in those situations. Having bigger guys in to not only help pick up blitzes, but also sneak out in the soft spot in the middle of the field would be nice.

I highly doubt Georgia will start sending 5 to 6 ppl because That's not who Kirby is... He can't play out of his element just to beat Bama.

As I've stated, I expect them to to come up with different ways to affect Young. BOB has to call a game where it'll be quick passes, RPO and quick deep ball time to time.

When Metchie got hurt vs Georgia, I think the score was like 17-17, so I don't understand why people think we can't win without him when we already did.

Bryce missed some guys yesterday but it is what it is.

Cincy secondary is light years better than Georgia's.

Georgia played exactly like they did all season until they met Bama.

If Georgia brings extra people on a blitz all game then this game will be a massacre because their secondary is SUSPECT.

Agreed. Take the easy quick throws, establish the run well enough to allow the RPO to work, and grind it out. Take a few shots here and there to keep the defense guessing.

Stetson Bennett has played against Alabama twice and is 0-2, 47-88 (53%), 609 yards, 5 TDs, 5 Ints and an avg QBR of 70.

Take it for what it's worth.
