Thanks, must be a good career opportunity. I thought for sure he was head coach in waiting after turning Troy down a few years ago.

Former Troy Head Coach Forrest Schultz Named Alabama Men’s Golf Assistant Coach
Schultz replaces former assistant coach and Crimson Tide student-athlete Hunter Hamrick in the new role
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama head coach Jay Seawell announced that Forrest Schultz has been named assistant men's golf coach, replacing former assistant coach Hunter Hamrick who departs the program for a new career opportunity.
"I would like to thank Jay and his wife Stephanie for welcoming me and my wife Holly with open arms," Schultz said. "It is great to have that kind of support and work with one of the best college coaches in the game. I'm excited to get to work alongside him and work with the student-athletes and am hopeful I can help them create something special this coming season. Alabama golf is known around the country as one of the top programs and to now be a part of it is very special and exciting for me and my family. I can't wait to get started."
Schultz joins the Crimson Tide program after two successful seasons as the head coach of Troy University. This past season, Schultz led the team to a 110-45-4 overall mark – the most head-to-head wins in nearly 20 years (1994-95) and most-ever at the Division I level.
"I am really excited about bringing Forrest in," Seawell said. "He has been a head coach down at Troy University and did a tremendous job in his two years there. He really helped turn their program around, Troy was in the upper-100's of the all the rankings, and now this past year they were a bubble team and just missed the NCAA Tournament. Forrest also did a great job at the Division II level at Henderson State in Arkansas, a place where he played. Forrest brings a ton of valuable experience and is someone that I can trust. With a new team coming in next season that has a lot of potential to be really good, we needed to bring in someone with a lot of coaching experience and knowing how college golf works."

Great for a Bama guy to take out Benedict Sargent. I hate that Limbaugh was able to get him to go out of state.

ON TO THE SEMIFINALS!!
Nick Dunlap's birdie on the 19th hole lifts him to victory over Jackson Koivun and into the final four of the #USAmateur!
With that, he become the first #Alabama men's golfer to reach the #USAmateur semifinals since Justin Thomas in 2012!
