Wonder if the school IMG is run by the sports management company by the same name?

Libertyabides71 Class of 2014 Recruiting MEGATHREAD Does a kid moving this close to school starting not strike you as odd? What is with recruits today and playing at certain high schools? Why would anyone that attends TC need to transfer to a private florida school other than the age 19 rule which he would have known about for a long time.

Could be a lot of reasons. Grade like Trey suggested; could also be for a change of scenery. I don't know what his home life is like. This may give him a chance at a fresh start.

Libertyabides71 Class of 2014 Recruiting MEGATHREAD I know the big business recruiting is but as someone who is a teacher/coach around kids these age on a daily basis does all this transferring, gaming the system, and other ways of playing the recruiting game not seem like its getting out of hand to anyone else?

Everyone thinks recruiting has gotten out of hand. To many people involved no way to much money. Unfortunately it is only going to get worse.

Recruiting is what it is because the NFL Draft and Major College Football are the juggernauts that they are.

was there a chance he was going to be ruled ineligible by AHSAA because of the squirrly way he made the last transfer and there was a chance the ruling was that he did not make a viable move.

He has probably known since the middle of his sophomore year of highschool that college football was a strong likelihood, and his grades are a mess anyway. I can sympathize with a kid who is a late bloomer and doesn't even get any interest from colleges until his senior season, but I really don't feel bad at all for kids like Bo who have to go to JUCOs. It's his own fricking fault.

I thought it was cousins. Some people don't realize cousins with some people doesn't mean any type of relationship family wise.

I remember way back when, when Mexicans called everyone cuz, and the bro's were bro's. Sigh, it's so confusing now.

No, it was brothers. Everyone was trying to figure out how two 5* players could be brothers and somehow no one knew anything about it. Eventually, Bo shot it down.

ETA: went back and checked and the rumor was that they're half-brothers so we were both wrong. But I was closer

I really don’t like “ATH” recruits it doesn’t seem to work out for bama, guys like B.J. Scott, Brent Calloway, Eddie Williams...I believe Mark Barron was an “ath" recruit but I think we all knew he was going to play safety.

I dont as well, we seem to put ours in the h back. I'd rather have someone that is specialized or at least make sure they have at least exceptional instincts over just build, size and athleticism. .

Yea but its normally not there fault. Its the coaches he throw them at all the different positions. I mean look at all of them you named. Neither one of those guys started out where they played in high school.

I'm pretty sure Eddie Williams, BJ Scott, and Brent Calloway all played the positions they started out at in high school. I know Williams and Calloway did. Not 100% sure that BJ Scott played WR in HS, but IIRC he did.
