You are missing the point of the argument. We offer special teamers very precious scholarships. We also take walk ons. Then, the walk ons kick the shite out of the scholarship players every year. So what's the point of offering the scholarship if we don't have a good eye for who will succeed at the position?

At any rate, I'm done talking about kickers and the quality of the class so far. There seems to be about a 50/50 divide and it's not getting us anywhere and it's not like me complaining will make a difference. So on to the next thing

Our class should be pretty good when all is said and done. Dwight is about to get a bump. The kid OJ Smith is somehow a under armour all american and those are the lowest rated guys we have besides the kicker and C. Will. We all know that we will finish strong.

We'll know who our QB is in the next few days. That's really all I care about right now. Everything else will work itself out.

Im probably in the minority but I dont think that we always need a top tier or highly rated QB. Dont get me wrong I really want Cornwell but I think we put soo much talent around them that they dont have to be spectacular. A.J. is good but majority of his passes are to wide open players. As long as they know how to read the defense and pass to the open guy im ok with whoever we get.

I, for one, am not satisfied with winning a national championship. I need to win TWO football national championships each and every year. Until Saban does this, he should be criticized for his punting game.
Actually, if he's so good, why do we need a punter at all, much less one on scholarship?
