Well, LSU has good reason to be confident about Brown. Bone has been hinting for several weeks now that Bama may have a better chance than people think, but there's too much working in LSUs favor with this one

I know an all I said was Saban and his dad made a connection on the Skype call on Sun and Kirby ended up visiting 2 days later and Bama is making it interesting (never said we would land him and I don't expect too, but I also don't ever EVER underestimate Saban & Co) and I get back "BAN BET OR ELSE" then they all call me a douche

Isn't he head of construction or something? If it's the same guy, my buddy in the AD never had anything but bad things to say about him and will be thrilled with this news.

That is truly a huge jump from Alabama director of athletic facilities to Clempsun's Recruiting Coordinator

Because he coached ST/TE and neither of those have been great for us(aside from blocking TE)
And when I hear that he is recruiting a kid, I immediately give up on him. He's a horrible recruiter.

General contractors have a lot of experience with handling large sums of money.

He's never held a coaching position. His background is in construction and coordinating athletic facilities. What in the Hell?

What's weird is recruiting is the one thing Clemson does well. Why are they changing that?

Maybe they need to build some shite ....

I'm guessing whoever tweeted that got confused when looking over AD and football support staff. There's no way you hire a guy, with not one drop of experience, to head up the life-blood of your program.

UA is set to add Monterrey (Mexico) Monterrey Tech punter Adrian Lamothe as a walk-on for the 2013 class. Lamothe will be visiting UA on Tuesday and is just waiting for word that he's been accepted into the university before things become official.

David Cornwell news
Top QB battles Okla. over eligibility
Top QB battles Okla. over eligibility
quote:
Top-rated quarterback prospect David Cornwell of Norman (Okla.) North and his family ended their silence on Thursday over the eligibility dispute that has jeopardized the remainder of his high school football career.
Cornwell, a 6-foot-5, 235-pound Alabama and Notre Dame target, is set to appear Tuesday before the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association board of directors. Cornwell seeks a resolution to the case that revolves around the fall of 2011, when his family lived in Florida and he did not attend school or play football as his mother, Debbie, battled a debilitating health condition.
quote:
Next fall marks the start of the fifth school year since he began ninth grade in 2009 at Millard South in Omaha, Neb.
Oklahoma eligibility regulations prohibit such an extra period of participation "unless sufficient proof exists that circumstances arose beyond the control of the student and the student's parents" that prevented the student from completing academic work.
"We understand the OSSAA's rules," said Ron Cornwell, David's father. "We've followed those. This situation clearly qualifies. He should be eligible. We're a little confused and hurt."
