Who do you guys think Bama gets or which do you want of Chad Mavety/Eluemunor?

Just got to thinking about Bama with JUCO's since Saban has been here. 1 Passed and another had to leave for personal reasons but other than them Brandon Lewis is the only one that signed, stayed and moved on from Bama that didn't go to the NFL (Cody,Menzie,Dial,Williams and Carpender) Have to wait and see with Belue and Brown

Eluemunor. He has the athleticism to play LT.

And Brandon Lewis was a re-sign out of high school. He and Belue/Brown's recruitments were different scenarios seeing as the staff had recruited them for over 3+ years.

I don't know the ratio, but when I was at UA it seemed like the majority of people I met were from out of state.

I'm from GA, and the 2-3 people I keep up with the most are from Norcross, Dunwoody, and Savannah. I also keep in touch with a buddy from Dallas. Treys from Ohio, and the group of girls I knew him through two were from LA, one from Knoxville, and one went to my highschool in GA. My longest two girlfriends were also from out of state.

One random state that we have a lot from is Maryland of all places.

I saw a statistic that the Houston metro currently has 500 students at UA. Dallas/Ft. Worth was along the same lines.

Yeah, I think part of that has to do with the Texas Top 10% Scholarship program. In-state admission to a school like UT-Austin is so competitive that kids outside that Top 10% get rejected.

Kids that go to really good high schools that have alot of scholarship worthy kids get caught in that crunch so they have to look elsewhere.

To be clear, even groups of kids that would be paying their own way are being turned away. Some folks that are singularly focused even go JUCO for a year or two and then transfer in. At least that's what I have been told... Kinda crazy when you think about it.

Yeah that's true about Texas. Probably why UA has been recruiting students so heavily in that state

I lived in Houston for a while and I'm familiar with the 10% rule that is used. I have a younger brother that will be going through the process soon. But he would be attending Alabama regardless.

The Fisher decision could get rid of the 10% rule next month. I kind of think it will. Any time they see numbers you risk having it labeled a quota.

LOL, that pretty funny on Marlon/Pruitt. Especially considering Pruitt's background.

Even Pruitt knows where a legacy from Hoover is likely to end up.

It's pretty obvious where Marlon is going.

Meh. He's good, but not Cornwell, Chryst, Harris good. I actually like that kid from Virginia that committed to UNC more as well.

5 days boys. 5 days.

I believe he just said they're in his top 3 with Bama and USCe

Which honestly I didn't want to hear. FSU is the school I've long felt had the best chance to poach him from us with Pruitt's Hoover connections and FSU's track record with 2 sport athletes
