Bishop Gorman rising senior running back Nate Starks was dismissed from school for violating school rules and won’t return, school officials said Monday.
The 6-foot, 200-pound Starks is Nevada’s top recruiting prospect for the class of 2014. He is a four-star recruiting prospect with scholarship offers from the likes of Notre Dame, Alabama, Oklahoma and USC.
Starks, who Rivals.com considers the nation’s No. 26 overall recruiting prospect, rushed for 1,821 yards and 27 touchdowns last year in helping Gorman win its fourth straight state championship.
It’s unclear where he’ll play in 2013. Nevada Interscholastic Association transfer rules dictate transfers from a private school such as Gorman sit out one year, regardless if the athlete is transferring to a public school or another private school. NIAA officials didn’t immediately return calls looking for clarification, or if a circumstance of being dismissed from one school would allow an athlete to move schools.

Damn. That's surprising. He seemed like a stand-up kid. I don't think he would have been in this class, but still very talented.

What is the connection between Austin Shepard and D. Sawyer? I always see them hitting each other up on twitter.

Both went to North Gwinnett, they are pretty good friends.
And on Starks, I think a big factor is that he did attend a catholic school...

Ashville's E.J. Moss has moved from QB to TE. He is also playing LB. Currently 6-foot-3, 228-pounds. A lot of schools like this move.

Dante Sawyer is down to a final 2 of Bama and UGA. Look for a decision in the next 2 weeks.

Kid should've made that move a long time ago.

Hell yea and its realistic. Not no postcard with swag written on it or a coach taking a picture with the NFL commish and he has yet to get anyone to the league.
