Next step is to cut the turnovers down.

Here are Nate's 2 Alabama teams + his last 2 Buffalo teams for comparison. It's interesting that his last Buffalo team was a pretty terrible 3PT shooting team.

Who are you guys for in Arky vs Florida tonight?

I am for Arkansas, I want them to be ranked as high as possible when we play them.

Pulling for Florida. That way if they somehow finish tied for 1st with us we’d have the tiebreaker over them for the #1 seed in the SECT

Nothing in it for either program, except risk of injury, bad loss and infection. They’re both NCAA Tournament bound regardless. WCC ADs are talking about this.

bingo me too. Plus we beat Florida at home so they need to stay in top 30 so it will be quad 1 win.

Why are we playing the Aggies Thursday at 2pm? That's stupid for a regular season game.

Smart move, in particular for Gonzaga. They have the tournament reps and experience.

I think it is the other way around for Bama and why Oats is pushing for the SEC Tourney.

Not only does it provide a potentially awesome milestone for this Bama program under him as reg season champs AND conference tournament champs, but the tournament prep and execution rep will be invaluable going into the NCAA.

Whatever comes, it has been awesome seeing Bama BB back.

Appreciate all in here, Chad, SoG and others who have kept it up and us informed.

Supposedly to work around the weather.
Looking at the weather tomorrow in College Station, I worry about them getting back out after the game.
High chance of rain/precip with below freezing temp.

They can't allow teams to opt out. That gives the conference another bid when they likely wouldn't get one otherwise. It's stealing spots from teams that deserve it.

Shut the tourney down if everyone doesn't want to play. Or remove their auto bid.

Saw a quote last week from Calipari essentially saying the latter. He thinks if the best teams in the conference opt out of conference tournaments, he expects the NCAA to counter with taking away auto-bids as it would be a bad precedent to allow a conference to steal a team into the tournament

I don't think there is any way that Alabama and UF will end up tied since Bama has played 3 more SEC games than UF. Ark would be the one to be interested in there since Bama has only played one more SEC game than they have.

The comment about UF remaining a Q1 win is valid though.

We'd have to lose 3 out of our last 5 games for anyone to even be able to tie us at this point, and that's if that team won out. I am not too worried about that.

Even then we have played more conference games than Florida or Arkansas so should be in 1st even if we were tied with one of them at 4 loses.

Arkansas is 25th in net, Florida is 26th, they are both in danger of falling out of the top 30 if they lose a couple of games.

Is Musselman going to take his pants off after winning this one?
