You would think we are down by 10 instead of up by 6 reading this thread.
This shite is child’s play compared to how it looks when we are down 10

Houston must have just played awful, because ECU is bad and has not shown any ability to compete with even above average teams (led alone great teams)
Best Win - #172 Charlotte
Vs Top 100 Teams
- Lost by 15 to #59 SMU
- Lost by 27 to #50 Memphis
- Lost by 9 to #88 Tulsa

LSU’s going to have to play a good bit better to beat us. I would think they are feeling pretty fortunate to be down just 6
We had the ball with a chance to go up double digits at least a handful of times and came up empty on all but the Shack free throw that put us up 10.

Marty Schottenheimer in hospice care...not good.

The shooting problems tonight feel much more random. We were struggling to get good shots at times in those games. That’s not the case tonight.
That's good - my game tracking has its limits on analysis

Feels like we're flirting with that February collapse. Just not playing well offensively the last few games. The one good thing we do have going for us this time is a good defense so maybe it can carry us until, hopefully, the offense gets its mojo back.

fricking up literally every opportunity we have to build or stretch out a lead has been a common theme lately as well. We get a 7 point lead and miss our next 4 shots like clockwork.

I’m not concerned about this game after watching the first half. The D is good tonight and so is the effort. The shots are also there and they will start to fall.

Need to come out these 1st 4 minutes and stretch this out to double digits. SET THE frickING TONE

I don't think so - if we hold on tonight (not a given) then we will have gone 3-1 while playing our worst ball against average to above-average teams.
After Saturday we play some bad teams. We'd have to play another level down from this to lose most of those games, let alone multiple of them in a row.

Somebody asked Lunardi how far Houston should drop after the loss to ECU and he said "Division II".

This is basically my take on the half.
I guess we could come out and play like shite this half, but feels more likely that we finally start making some of the open shots.
If we do the other stuff, we should be fine.

That may just be what our team is.
Tonight they are playing good defense and for the most part passing the ball around.
We should win this.
