I haven’t seen them much at all (definitely not a full game), but Cam Thomas is a bit of a chucker. For the season, he’s averaging 2.4 3s made per game on 7.5 attempts a game.

Watford, on the other hand, is pretty efficient. I also didn’t realize he was putting up over 18 a game this year.

Funny how sitting Petty and was it Q? seemed to jump start this run.

It was Petty and Rojas. Then all the cancel culture bullshite imaginable.

Rojas is gonna lose some minutes going forward I believe. Both Gary and KAH looked good today. They both look like guys who can be solid contributors in the future. Rojas has to play solid D and rebound well to be on the floor over those two.

Without seeming like I’m talking shite about a great former player (and he was a hell of an offensive player), I don’t think it hurts your team defense to lose Kira.

I also don’t know that it’s just more effort (although that obviously matters a lot). We’re longer and quicker. At times we can run out something like Petty, Primo, Keon, Herb, and Bruner. If we’re locked in, we can rotate and help and run out on shooters and just make everything difficult.

Kira, Beetle, Petty, Herb, and Galin (for example) can try as hard as they want - they’re just not going to be as good defensively as a lot of our lineups this year.

Our athleticism and length in the 2-deep is so much better than it was last year.

I wasn't sure Oats was going to be good enough to teach these guys how to play great team defense while playing that tempo style on offense. I was just wrong. They are a well schooled, well taught defensive unit. They talk and switch as well as any group we've had, and that includes some of those great team defenses we had with Grant and the long athletes.

This thread is too hard on Rojas. He plays Tough and he plays hard. Is he a little bit of a ball hog? Yes. But it’s a small tradeoff for the toughness he brings.

Rojas is still learning some of the things he's done well his whole life he can't do at this level.

It'll come.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to point out that he’s not a point guard. He makes Petty’s handles seem like a globetrotter. Just get in the paint and try to rebound and occasionally wander out to the three point line for a shot in rhythm. .

He does too much offensively sometimes. He needs to clean up the Offensive Glass, get putback’s, get dump offs for Layups, and shoot open 3s. When he tries to dribble and drive is when he sucks.

Rojas might actually play too hard. Everything is so herky jerky and extreme. He can’t just set a pick, it’s gotta be a violent pick. Refs just LOVE calling fouls on him - they can’t look away.

He may need some mentors. Call in Rod Grizzard and Shannon Hale and just have them talk to him about relaxing a little bit.

Whoever said today that Rojas thinks he is Hot Sauce from the and one mixtapes nailed it.

I love his toughness, he just needs to stick to what he is good at. He isn't that bad at driving from a short distance but he shouldn't be dribbling the length of the court ever.

I hope LSU wins this. Our game vs them Tuesday night loses some luster if they lose this one, plus I want them to be riding high when we come in there and beat that arse.

South Carolina looks pretty good.

A mediocre South Carolina basketball team looking elite in conference play seems like an annual SEC tradition at this point.

That recent series was one of the ugliest 20 seconds of basketball you will ever see. Holy shite.
