Ok, but he does none of that.

And he does this every time he touches the ball.

I'm not sure what "being tough" does for the team if he's just being tough while he turns the ball over, gets beaten off the dribble on defense, fouls, or is getting his shot swatted.

If he continues to get more minutes than Gary, then maybe Oats sees something in him that I don't. But, I see him do way more negative stuff than positive.

He plays solid defense and gets in there and gets physical. If you can’t see that you are blind

Does he though?

What exactly does this mean? He bumps into people a lot, on offense and defense, but I'm not sure how that helps the team. He gets an occasional rebound, but he's not particularly good at that either

I'm going to stop bad-mouthing him for now. There's too much good to complain about one player. It's just genuinely perplexing to me why he plays over, well, any scholarship player.

Gary balled out today, 9 points, 3 rebs, 3 blocks in 7 minutes. That's pretty amazing.

He's starting to get comfortable, I think. A lot of fans seem to have forgotten about him, but he was the highest ranked player we signed in 2019, unless you count the transfer, Quinerly.

I thought Ambrose looked good too. I look for him to get a lot more minutes until Bruner gets back.

Miles is gonna be a big time player for us starting next year

It's been a good roll. Happy with the teams response from the start of season. I was little worried about the Petty situation. I've been trying like crazy not to jinx them in anyway.

Only way I could like Oates anymore right now is if he broke out the ol plaid some more again.

I hope that once the season ends we find out what the hell happened after the WKU game. Because the differences on both ends of the floor are stark. Everyone is talking about the defensive improvement, but even on offense things have changed dramatically. I was complaining ad nauseum about the lack of ball movement in our half court sets after that game and especially all the needless hero ball they were playing in an apparent effort to replicate Kira (looking at you Shack), but then suddenly it's like a light came on and they decided that finishing games with more assists than turnovers is the way to go.

Feel like LSU has a bit of an advantage this year because a pandemic home crowd isn’t that different than their normal home crowds.

I probably should save that one for the rant game thread.
