I was in the same boat. I watched the Heisman hour long presentation then switched to the game. Saw them about to start the second half, looked at the score and noped the frick out of there.

We basically dominated 39 of the 40 minutes of the game

I watched 1 minute of the game

Guess which

Yeah I turned it over to the game for a little while, realized we were playing OK, and went back to literally anything else because I didn't want to jinx it.

I can live with starting at my phone at a changing score for 2 hours and then watching the game on replay later if it means the Tahd breaks all the spells

I am IN FOR IT

I mean seriously, this doesn't even look like the same team that punched themselves in the dick and got dominated by that human/wet dog shite hybrid Stansfield and his merry band of semi-pros.

How much time is left in the first half when Bruce's pit sweat finally saturates his jacket? 17 minutes? 15?

Well, that was amazing. And without Quinerly. Hope we can continue to play at this level. What a great night!

I mean that's the thing - this wasn't a Gottfried team with a bunch of NBA guys playing infuriating basketball, it just looked like they weren't very good.

And now.......they are

Bruner deserves credit for what he did tonight. Castleton MAULED LSU and Bruner shut that arse down.

No Quinerly and Primo had Zero points and we still would have hit 90 if we didn’t pull our starters with over 2 mins left.

No JQ and Primo didn't score a single point.

Crazy.

Last year was eerily similar. We looked awful at the start of the season, only to really turn into one of the tougher squads in the SEC until Herb went down.

I did the same thing and my buddy texted me at the end and said “Another huge win” and I had to check the score. This is so exciting!!

My only real analysis is that the defensive improvement over last year isn’t just effort and toughness. That’s all important, but we’re also just longer and more athletic. You can see it in the way that we can help and recover.

Put Keon, Petty, Herb, Bruner, and basically any random other dude out there and there’s a lot of arms and legs and guys jumping around and getting into passing lanes.

The defensive improvement is very sustainable.
