Sexton's shooting is actually pretty impressive - he's not an empty volume scorer.
Obviously small sample size this year, but he's sitting at 55/60/76 shooting splits this year.
And last year's splits were 47/38/85. That's pretty efficient for a season.
On other hand, he's just not a playmaker. 3 assists a game his first two years. Up to 3.8 this year.
Even though he's never going to be anything but a scoring guard, to really take the next step in his career he'd need to get his assists numbers up to 5 or 6 a game.

I think we have be to realistic. I just hope we play with lots of effort and energy. Continue to build on the Ole Miss win. Hopefully another good game for Petty and he can continue to turn his season around. I think we probably lose though I do like us +9.5
