OSU's defense was the difference -- getting nine turnovers in the last 10 minutes.

Kira Lewis' last turnover was March 14th. Since then, he has compiled 97 minutes over 6 games. He has 19 assists over that stretch.

I think everything on Tuscaloosa News is behind a pay wall.

There are now 12 teams with a shot at winning the national title. Alabama is one of them. Goodnight.

Officially nervous about the game. Would be awful to lose to those upstart Bruins, hehe.
Each game being sudden death is so nerve wracking especially since these college games are so unpredictable.
Hope we do enough to win today. Roll Tide.

Glad we got the early tip tonight. I see two of the Elite 8 games are tipping around 9 central time. On a weeknight. That seems ludicrous. Diehard fans will watch but would seem to be a big turn off to casual fans.

Games should be tipping Central time about 1, 3, 5, and 7 PM.
Would make for a respectable tip times across the country.

I'm online with them, and if it wasn't for the obit and Cecil Hurt, I wouldn't wipe my arse with that socialist rag...ironic concerning all the pay walls.

Just a reminder that we have only advanced past this round of the tournament 1 time in 21 tournament appearances.

Winning tonight would be a very big deal.

Alabama can taste history as Sweet 16 meeting with UCLA arrives (al.com)

quote:

With 16 flicks of the wrist, Alabama buried Maryland in three-pointers to reach its first Sweet 16 since 2004.

With a few more, the school can advance to where it has been only once before.

A trip to the Elite Eight is on the line Sunday night in Indianapolis when the No. 2 seed Crimson Tide (26-6) meets No. 11 seed UCLA (20-9) in Hinkle Fieldhouse. The 6:15 p.m. CT tip from the historic gym on the campus of Butler University will air on TBS.

Herb Jones leaves a legacy of toughness (SI)

Herb Jones' success may not show up for Alabama basketball with gaudy statistics, but his unique skillset makes him the most valuable player for the Tide

If there are real fans that don't already know this, I'm not sure what to say. At least the older fans should know this.

i dont disagree with this but JQ has to be 1B. Especially in the second half of the season. We dont get here without JQ. There were a few games Herb was in foul trouble and didnt play many minutes but JQ stepped up big time along with the other bigs off the bench.

I have to work until 8 tonight so I will keep my tradition of not watching and following along on my Sports app.

We haven't lost a single game I didn't watch.
