I don't have the warm fuzzies about this game. It would just be awesome to have another Elite 8 appearance. Hypothetically speaking, say we lose in the next round to FSU or Michigan, the motivation for next year's squad to get further will be at an all time high.

Force turnovers and dictate the pace. Even if 3s aren't falling, get them fatigued and get blow bys.

I feel pretty good about it in my rational brain but yea I'm emotionally tweaking right now and the game isn't for 10 hours

It'll come down to who dictates pace and if UCLA keeps overcoming their terrible shot selection. If we dictate pace I think we win regardless of how many mid range jump shots Juzang makes, but if they drag us down into a 61-57 type game and keep making those shots we're going to have a really difficult game on our hands.

Im working and warching the first 2 games this afternoon and then headed out to roll the tide.

My only real concern about this game is that it turns into a repeat of OSU-Loyola yesterday, but we are Loyola. That's the only way UCLA can beat us IMO. We're going to have to miss all of our good looks in a compressed game while they make just enough bad looks to keep us at arm's length and win like 62-58 or something. If we make our shots we will boat race them. The Gump in me says it's going to play out a lot like the Maryland game. They'll struggle to stay in front of us consistently, which will slowly ramp up the tempo until it gets to a point where they just can't keep up anymore.
