Well shot absolutely horribly while they made everything.

We’re easily in position to come back IF we hit some fricking 3s

Literally all we have to do is make a shot

What a terrible final minute.

And I don’t even care about Rojas being called for that in a vacuum, but getting that call when they’re calling Reese for the most chicken shite push off you’ll ever see Is sort of galling.

More Gary, less Rojas in the second half. There’s no rationale for it that makes sense unless Gary is hurt.

2 quick fouls will do that. Can’t drive to the basket when any contact is called on offense (at least on one end).

Pons is killing us down low with the defense

Why do you think we’d hit a mid range jumper after shooting that poorly? It makes zero sense

They're also killing us in transition, something we haven't allowed to anybody all season

They are going to go cold at some point offensively it’s just if we can make enough shots on the other end

Really, really bad half for us on both ends.

Tennessee with a great half all around - especially offensively.

Down 9 which is still well within striking distance for us. We have to play a lot better defensively and we need to knock down some shots. If we can do that, we can still win this game. Not going to be easy though.

I just don’t understand why Gary can’t get more minutes on this team

Go outside and shoot ten 25-foot shots then shoot ten 12-foot shots and tell me which one you make the most.

If we were shooting our average from three the game would be tied despite Tennesee’s absolute fricking joke of a half banking in 3s and making almost every contested midrange jumper.

Tennessee getting a lot of lucky bounce out rebounds too. Our threes are bricking into their hands and theirs are bricking over ours

Nate Oats didn’t want his players reacting to officials’ calls, and they aren’t. But Oats is letting the officials have it today, including after James Rojas was called for a block on a potential charge by Yves Pons.

That call on Rojas completely changed the momentum at the end there. For them to set a record on offensive fouls this tournament, to turn around and call that is just complete bull shite. If you're going to call Reese on whatever the hell he did, then that's a foul on UT.

Whatever. Game could be worse, but the guys are fighting hard. UT cooled off a bit before half, so that's good news. Guys have to start making open looks.

12 turnovers
4-17 on 3's is a losing receipe.
Still a whole half to play to get it right, hopefully move on to the championship game.
