Kentucky is running this funky Box and 1 on Stewart and he's just dumping it down over the top of it to big guys on the block.

Thing that surprises me about this game is Kentucky’s defense. They’re getting carved up a bit.

Can anyone tell what exactly they are running defensively? It's almost like 4 man to man with 1 rover doubling Stewart on the wings, but it's not even really a double as the 2nd guy is playing behind the 1st guy, not really trapping - just there to keep him from the dribble drive.

They might just be ready for the season to be over. Especially the guys who will inexplicably get drafted because reasons.

Does look odd at times. For some reason they decided to blitz the ball handler there and got out of position.
Also this is a poor start to my attempts to work through March. I probably shouldn’t be paying this much attention to a random 11 am tip-off.

Wouldn't be surprised if State scored like 17 pts in the 2nd half and lost by 10

Guessing it is better for us for State to win..

State has 44 points and they've made 1 three pointer
That's almost impossible

Great 1st half of play by State.
Quiet a bit of the $$$ was on Kentucky. Line went from KY -2 to -3.5

Eh, they’re very similar teams really. There’s no reason to be especially scared of either.
Also I could deal with that not being a technical. I just don’t really see the harm.

A really crappy version of some type of box and one just to help limit dribble penetration I guess. Might make more sense if you had a solid height advantage combined with playing against a supreme, athletically gifted, elite PG but none of that is the case so that's probably why it isn't working.

I think he was fine until he slapped the backboard. They're always gonna call that.

It’s just a bit odd that Kentucky, of all teams, can’t deal with Abdul Ado.

State plays ugly basketball a lot but man they play their arse off for Howland. You don't ever have to worry about them getting after it.

ESPN box score says 30-14 advantage on the glass for State.

I had rather play UK than MSU. State has length on interior to give us fits . That’s why both games have been close
