Dammit, now I wish we could play Kentucky, they're looking terrible.

Basically as they've been all year

Kentucky really hasn't show up If there's one area where Kentucky shouldn't get dominated it's in the inside.

Maybe they underestimated State, I hope we don't do the same.

My onlt worry was a Kentucky team that could make shots.

Again, we could lose to State, but we have to have a terrible shooting night or else the math doesn't add up for them. And even when we do shoot bad, like we have 2x against them, we still have won.

I'd be shocked if we overlooked anything. I just think Kentucky is mentally soft and has been all year.

That disparity on the boards reads lazy lack of effort for the KY.
Calipari's currently chewing their arse out.
We'll see 2nd half if they even care.

You could probably break out the Spider-Man pointing gif with this one.

They both have a ton of length, they both are pretty good defensively, and they both struggle to score (usually).

Both are sort of built to hang around with us but lose in the end. With the exception that we did sort of kick Kentucky’s arse the first game.

I think they are both in the top 5 of tallest teams in the country. If not, they are very close to it.

There is a reason we have shot bad against them both times . Finishing at the rim is hard against them . They slow the game down and take us out of our normal tempo as well. Hard to get going against them. Just have not liked the matchups against them this year

Hope the analytics are right one more time

Good lord, just checked the score. Has MSU scored 44 points in a half all season?

I had a sneaky suspicion MSU would give Kentucky some problems today, but not like this. I figured they'd just hand around and keep it really close.

I agree with the at the rim part, but the 2nd game we were getting open looks from 3 the entire game. We just missed them. All of them.

Michigan State has been really inconsistent all season, and when they've played bad it's been really, really bad.

State is just outcompeting Kentucky on the offensive boards. Plain and simple.

Tommorow actually kind of works out for me.

I’m gonna get all my major shite at work done before 11 and watch the 1st half on the clock in our little maintenance break room. Then I will clock out for lunch at the start of the 2nd half and watch it on lunch. Genius.

No kidding on that front... only sadder for me today.

Just brought my dog back from Auburn, no options to treat her cancer. She is still doing ok right now. But time will come soon that I will have to make that decision.

Sorry to vent in this thread... just got the news
