If we are gonna be an elite program going forward you eventually gotta beat UK in these settings. Rather try and get the monkey off our back this year because UK ain’t gonna be this bad forever

I don't care who we play. I just absolutely LOVE the SEC basketball tournament. I need to make a better effort to attend one again. It's been since the mid 90's I think since I've been to one. I'm moving the conference room TV into my office on Thursday and Friday.

I know its not exactly comparable, but Bama faced a similar type of monkey with Florida in the early aughts. In 2008, they finally got that monkey off their back by beating Florida in the tournament.

Oral Roberts is up 43-34 vs South Dakota St at half. Pretty sure I've heard George talk then up as a scary 15 seed. But they still gotta win their conference.

2 of my scary 15 seeds lost or are about to lose - SDSU and Georgia State
I think we are learning that nobody knows much about the majority of the small conferences outside the South - including analytics - because they barely played any big opponents.

That’s clearly the only reasonable conclusion to make. What are your views on the Horizon, Sun Belt, and Summit conference semifinals this evening? Or maybe the CAA or MAAC?

That's definitely true, at least about most of these.
