If we just woke to play one of Mercer, Tulane or Auburn, we could've been a tournament team. This is a tournament I desperately wanted to make too.

Well Steele's done. Just had surgery on his ankle. What an injury-plagued career. I'm glad he at least got to come back for last season and this season though.

A lot of us feel this way...I wish I could stop watching (I have said that 100 times). But I am looking forward to see which team plays today. Will it be the Alabama from November or December?

Yeah...this is a tournament where you just needed to get in to have a shot at a run. There are a few really good teams and then everyone else is very beatable. Half of the Sweet Sixteen is going to end up being 8 seeds or higher. It's the double edged sword of the NCAAT. Upsets are the essence of what makes it so great, but if you have too many upsets you end up making the late rounds a lot less compelling to most fans.

Retin is playing so good I wouldn't mind Lacey sitting the bench. He did nothing today and committed several stupid lazy fouls.

You beat me to it. Lacey needs to sit on the bench. Like the way Pollard played today as well.

I was there today. Nice crowd for an 11:00 tip off on a dreary day.

This season already resembled 2 years ago and the way we're playing in the postseason is like déjà vu

You know what I might have to look back at the game but it did look like Lacey got benched. His laziness just frustrates the hell out of me. He will get back on defense and point out the open man and instead of going to get him himself he will just sit there. He is extremely out of shape. Honestly him and Releford.

Grant may not have been happy with him but he initially sat because he had four fouls.

I may be stupid for already being excited about next year, but whatever, I am. We could be pretty good, regardless of the offensive system issues. Partially it's Retin, I'm getting stupidly excited about his potential. But Levi's improved, Nick has improved, even Pollard has improved.

Lacey and Cooper need to step it up, and hopefully we get something out of the freshmen bigs. I do feel a lot better about our bigs going into next year than I did going into this year, especially getting Carl back. I mean he's not great but he's solid and he's another body, and Moussa and Nick have improved.

No I didn't. I ended up leaving for Spring Break Thursday. I'm not sure if I'll make the trip up Tuesday. We should have another loud crowd like we did today. It's amazing how even 6000 fans can make a difference when you let them sit near the court.
