Don't think we are going to be able to count on Zane going forward. He has been bad for a while now.

14 hits will do that. They're hammering our pitching, and we're sitting at 5 hits.

Adams’ timing on his delivery is all over the place.

I just got home from work and am watching a shite show. Our BP is shitting the bed and we have given up 10 runs with UT still batting bottom of 6.

third pitcher of the inning with Zane being the one who started the shite show

Good news - the entire bullpen is going to get their side session in today and should be fresh to hang out and run poles the next few days!

We just don't have any guys with swing and miss stuff in the bullpen. Moza has a pretty good slider when it's on, but he will hang them too. Couple that with bad infielders on the corners, and putting the ball in play is always going to lead to runs.

Nearly all of our losses this year we've just had meltdown innings and they usually materialize because of dumb shite we do. Two outs, runner on 1st...passed ball now he's in scoring position. Base hit, there's a run.

We don't have anybody in the pen that can just stop the bleeding though

Not being able to get one damn inning from Zane Adams is just kinda head-scratching.

When he comes out not throwing strikes he can be aggressively bad.

I hate to pile on during a shitshow. But injuries, misevaluations, and simply lack of development has been an issue for years now on the pitching staff.

We just don't have the caliber of live arm out there that most of the rest of the league does. Other teams bring in young guys who throw 95+ but haven't figured out how to pitch yet when they are in the middle of their pen - Georgia, LSU, Tennessee, etc. We just don't have dudes like that.

Id love to see us change our approach to recruiting pitchers. Less 93+ throwers that are prone to injury, more 88-90 guys that can throw with movement and pound the strike zone.

Don’t think we end up hosting but would love to be wrong. Hard to see them taking us over UT when they beat us 3/4 all in our home state.
